I got my timing all said up today. It turns over and everything now I just need to get the cam angle sensor figured out. The engine rotates freely but of course it once to ignite spark at the wrong time. Thank you everyone that gave me your input turn day we going project into 2 hour long project
Thank you for your input. If look at my old 2g cams and my other set of evo 8 cams I can mark my gears where they need to be.90° off isWhen I searched earlier most of the post I found said it can't be done.

I have recently installed evo 8 cams in my 7 bolt 4g63t.The cams fit in the head.I've had he intake came machined to take the 2g CAS.The engine is timed correctly...spins free. Doesn't contact valves or pistons.The engine won't run.
Any ideas?
I am in the process of rebuilding my engine. I just want it to be a realible eninge I am not looking to make huge power just 350 hp or so. I was considering going with evo 8 pistons and rods. I'm not sure what other evo parts fit the 7 bolt block. thanks

Check the wires before you get a tune. Always look at the things that a free to do first before spending any money. If the car feels like it drives fine and doesnt misfire then that could leave it to just one thing the a/f gauge.
