Thanks for the welcoming...and sorry, it has been just rebuilt. it is off of a rebuild from what the guy told me that i bought the car from. it wasnt fully rebuilt since i had to get a replacement turbo since the one that was in there was cracked and i ended up replacing the valve cover...

it probably does need replaced if it is anything like some of the other parts on the car. it has 192k original miles. I just didnt know if it would be easy to replace on my own (well, with some other ppl helping me) or if it was easier to just pay a mechanic for the labor and me buy the part.

well, we figured that if the car is knocking and the oil pump is possibly bad, then i guess that would tell me that there is no oil pressure if any oil going anywhere.but that is how i came to that conclusion... :)

the reason for the oil pump issue is because when you start the car it makes a knocking noise like it isnt getting oil and it has oil in it and is full. We put on that oil pump over-flow thing (i dont remember the exact name for it) that was on the free power mods, and there is nothing going...
