Hey driggs, this is bloody_angel1 at 2gnt, is the site down or something, cause it wont work for me? Anyways, the gears were set at 0* for a week or so, until today because the cars seems to want to stall more often, like when i let off the gas quick, or go to slow down, it bogs down real bad...
Well i was out adjusting the cam gears, because i just redid timing last week with a new tensioner, everything else is new, and everything is good, timing lines up even after running it, and since i have crower 2's and the head has been milled, the timing should be about half a tooth off at TDC...
yeah, im doing the one below the battery, right next to the fender. i have everything unbolted, all 3 nuts, plus the center bolt too, but as soon as i lift it up, it just stops like its hitting something, but nothing is there  i mean i dont have the battery tray bracket removed, but...
thanks for moving it, i didnt know i was even allowed to post in here, so i just did the newbie forum. but does anyone else have any advice, or actually know how to get it off?
i tried searching, but didnt find anything helpful, so does anyone know how to get the tranny mount off? the car is a 96 auto n/t, and i tried everything to get it off, but it just wont come. it moves up and down, and when it gets to like 1/2" left it just stops, like its hitting something, but...
yes mine has rear drums. i also have to bleed to brakes now since the pedal goes right to the floor, luckily im close to work, so i could just walk. and to your statement wret, i already tried that, one of the holes stripped, and the other was about to, so that pretty much cancels that idea...
ok this sucks, i cant get the rotor off, i tried some PB blaster, i tried hitting it with a hammer, it wont come off, and then it started raining, so i had to put it all back together, because i have to go to work tomorrow and i need a car, but im afraid i wont be able to brake cause of all the...
the guy at auto zone was talkin about using a really big screw driver to force them in, but i wasnt exactly sure what he was talkin about, and i really didnt want to have to buy anything, or go back up to auto zone to buy it
If I am puttin on a rotor, and painting the calipers, will I need that tool to compress the pads back in to put the calipers back on? auto zone didnt have one to rent, and i didnt want to buy it either
wait, isnt MMCd for 1g's? and also, i tried installing the palm desktop icon, and tried to hotsync from my computer, but it wont even do that, what could be the problem? it says the connection between the handheld computer and desktop icon cannot be established. check your connection and try...
-lol- well maybe that explains it. but the guy said he tested it before sending it to me, and it worked fine for him, but he's a manual, so i think its just because im an auto. but if mmcd will work better, is there a free download for it, if so, can someone tell me where i can find it at?
does anyone know anything about this? i think i seen something about having to get a hacked version of the software, but i cant find anything else about this
so i bought this the other day http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=4638544798&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT, and for another 11, i got the upgraded palm m500. came with everything i need, cable for the car, cable to hook up to my computer, OBDgauge, palm'n'stein...
Thanks for replying. Ive never really messed around with my alternator other than changing belts, so I really dont know what to look for when checking for a proper ground, although i do have a ground wire kit, and have a wire grounded from the negative battery terminal to the alternator itself...
Well my battery is only 5 months old, pep boys battery, and I just had my alternator replaced about a month ago, since I was told it was bad, and the one I bought was used, but was supposedly tested before being sent to me, from an ebay seller, and the first weekend it was on, I didnt drive my...
Thanks a lot. Also, i wasnt aware of the fact that the plugs are different, and these will require me to rewire them, so is there a link or something that shows me how to do it?
what about this one? if you look at the second picture, it looks to have the yellow corner, and i can get it pretty cheap, along with the other one, im just trying to make sure i get the right ones...
thanks for the replies guys, and i have a blitz front bumper, 97-99 style, so these will fit, i just wanted to make sure they were both the same, but i will ask the one seller if it has a clear corner to it or not before i decide to buy it
Since its so hard to find anyone selling a set of 97-99 healights, I found 2 people on ebay selling one of each light, left and right, and before i bought them, i want to make sure they are both the same lights, and would like it if someone could look at the links and verify it for me...
its the intake air temperature sensor located on the intake manifold, and i know something is wrong since the code stays on even after reset, but im wondering what would cause that if the sensor is only a few months old
I just this code recently out of the blue, its for the IAT sensor voltage to high, which I just replaced back in december, so I had my job scan it, and try to erase it, but their scanner said I need to reset the battery to erase the code, which I did, a few times, left it unplugged for a good...
As far as I know the timing is good, it better be cause I paid good money to get it fixed, but my tensioner might be bad since its got 103k on it, so if timing is off, it might be from that, but I dont feel like taking the crank pulley off to look at it, not yet anyways, whenever I install my...
Actually, when i went into work today, my cel light came on, and it blinked 23, but the haynes manual doesnt have a 23, so i took it to my job, and they used their scanner, and it came up as the IAT sensor circuit high voltage or something to that nature. I just replaced the sensor in december i...
My plugs and wires are new, within 2 months, maybe 3. I really cant remember back that long ago if it was doing that or not, happened like 2.5 years ago, it wasnt a bad wreck, I slid on some ice into a curb doin like 10-15mph, bent the lower control arm, messed the front bumber up bad, and...
Well, im non turbo, so I doubt its a boost leak. I also replaced all my vacuum lines on the TB and intake manifold with that RRE silicone hose kit, but I still may have a leak somewhere on the manifold itself, I dont know? What about the evap canister, isnt there vac lines that go to that as...
Well my car is just not doing so good, I just replaced the front and rear o2 sensor, fuel filter and alternator, and it still is running bad. When i start it up in the morning, it cranks a little slow, and almost stalls out right away, doesnt even hit 1k rpms, drops to like 500, catches itself...
molded in? what makes you think they are molded in? they look like the would be low cut blitz skirts, there are high cut, which are the ones i have on my car, and they go like half way up the rear quarter panel, then there are low cut ones, which match up to where the stock side skirts sit at...
does anyone know what side skirts these are, they kinda look like low blitz, but yet they look different, check the link for the picturehttp://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=7&topic_id=92829&mesg_id=92855&page=
What kit did you get, is it autozones harmonic dampener puller? If so, it should have 2 long rods, what you do is take the bolt out of the crank, put the rods in the bolt hole until it stops and there is some of the rod sticking out, then you use that, tighten the bolt on the puller against the...
You have to lower the motor to get the pulley out, same thing happened to me, spent like 2 hours trying to get it off without lowering it. You should be able to get it off by taking off the timing side motor mount, and use a jack to lower it until it stops, that should be low enough to clear the...
Well, ive come to the decision that i am going to use my tax return and perhaps a small loan from the bank, to get some new ground effects, a paint job and some rims, but i am having trouble deciding on what to get. I have blitz on there now, and for the most part, i like it, except for the high...
well they are pretty cheap wheels as far as pricing goes, but i think i plan on paintin them white anyways, so it wouldnt matter if the clear coat pealed or not, i wonder if someone can photoshop it to see how they would look...
what do you guys think of these rims

Do you mean the door jam? If so, mine was broke, and everytime I opened my car door, it would pop, the little bar that comes off the door to the fender i guess had a crack in it. I just got a new one from the dealer, fixed it right up
I dont know about slowboy, I took my car to them to have them tune it with my AFC, and they claimed all these things were wrong with it, and said they fixed it, and tuned it and all, and I told them the price I could pay, and they went way over it, and the car ran better before I took it to...
thanks for the replies guys, well the tps and isc are both new within 15 months i would say, so i doubt its either of them. it could be a vac leak, but i just bought that silicone hose kit off of RRE, so hopefully that will fix it, if not, could be a fuel problem, i bet its the same fuel system...
well i took the lower half of my intake off and i was gonna retighten it down, and there was oil in there, and it was kind of leaking down throughout the pipe, is that normal? and would it cause the car to want to stall, because my car wants to stall when i come to a stop, or let off the gas to...
if you were saying the CTS was reading -40, i would say its bad, or you dont have enough antifreeze in your car for it to read anything, because when its bad or cant read, it will just think thats what the cars temperature is, and toss a bunch of fuel in to compensate for it, and you also said...
yeah, theres only 2 codes, 14 and 21, 14 being MAP sensor voltage out of normal range, and 21 being O2 sensor voltage to the computer not fluctuating. now i just replaced my O2 sensor not even a month ago, so why would that code come up? and as far as the MAP sensor code, i heard that having the...
wow, thats awesome. actually i took of the negative terminal and let it re-learn, and only 2 codes came up, one for the map sensor, and o2 sensor, but i just replaced it like a month ago, so im wondering why that code keeps coming up?also, it seems slower that it was before, i hardly feel...
because i had my head built, and i have bigger cams in there, and the company who built it said they recommend me gettin an afc to help control the lopey idle, and i have a few other mods, so i could adjust a/f ratio. that and i got it for almost half price, but the concern is all the CEL's i...
