Thank you guys, it was the rear wiper switch. As the rear wiper/pump is eliminated this will no longer be required. Appreciate the help.

The connector is located behind the radio. Can't remember where it goes, perhaps it's unused?

Agreed, you either broke a shift fork, or a roll pin. The forks are aluminum and hopefully didn't do much damage to the gear cluster, if any at all. The forks are also easy to replace. Are there any DSM Guru's around you, that rebuild transmissions?

yeah i tried putting it back together but something shifted looks like the intermediate shaft doesnt get all the way in and it keeps leaking out. Fluid came out clean tho, no shavings at all.
