we played with that "440 quest" for over a year with no problem then sold it!!

First off I read on a thead somewhere that the nonturbo 2.0l trans would fit in a turbo can for a temp. fix IT WON'T!!, the belhouseIng is different ALMOST 1 INCH SMALLER IT WON'T CLEAR THE FLYWHEEL!
Second the washers behind the pivot ball work great I won't ever pull a trans with out putting...
the input shaft will spin when the engine is running always UNLESS the clutch is pressed so you could run the engine for the 5 mins. it takes seafoam to work IF you held the clutch down the WHOLE time.

late last night I tried to blockoff the isc/fiav this is getto and cheap but it worked great,
separated the 2 halves, used some gasket material and made a gasket to go between the 2
the only hole in it were for the screws so it blockedoff everything water hole and all, agood helping of silicon...

the heads are slihtly differnt, the turbo head has a differnt part # on the valve seat and the exaught valves. I have ran a nonturbo head with no problem but Sealed Power, and Beck Arnley have differ part#s.
