ok i got it into the shop and it was the fuel pump, its all fixed now.How do i bore out my cylinders and put new and bigger pistons in the head?

ok i have new ngk plugs, new fuel filter, and new o2 sensor, should i buy plug wires now?

ok in the morning when i take off and i put the gas down it boggs alot then after it gets warmed up it a little better but it should at least go to redline but no it wont, the cars slow as hell and i know that it has more potential then that.edit: what should i do?

wait so all it is, is wires that got unplugged from one another? and the one by the transmission is that one right on the side of the transmission or what?

nope mine was never crashed nor has it had body work done to it. so look underneath the back bumper and look for what?

my reverse lights will not work when im backing up. the fuse for them is fine. the bulbs renot burnt out. so im guessing that theres a short in te wiring. do you think im right?Thanks in advance, Paul

ok so after i drive it smell around where the injectors are and if i smell fuel then i need new ones?also when i brought it in before they were rusty so all the shop did was clean them that was it they didnt put new ones in.and i have a new O2 sensor and whats the mas thingy?

nope i dont believe im leaking gas. how do i make it stop running rich?should i buy new venom fuel injectors first and see if that solves it?edit: and yes i can see the rpm needle move a bit during an idle. and whats CEL?

ok i still dont know whats wrong with my talon. it just doesnt have the power like it should. i dont know if i need new fuel injectors or what?but heres whats going on. The RPM's stop at 4-5,000 in gears and i know it shouldnt do that, when i have it floored it doesnt have as much power as...

i have a jl audio w6v2. this one 12" sub hits at least 130-140 db. and thats only running off of a small mtx 200 watt amp. it could take 3 times that.

im sorry for the bump.but would it fix all that stuff thats happening? like would it make the rpms jump like a normal talon would? would it stop spuddering.and another thing. does my 96 talon esi have a governor on it?

ok i got my 96 talon esi in the shop. it turns out the fuel injectors were rusty. they cleaned them up then the car ran but its still not pushing what it could. would it help if i bought new fuel injectors. when its idling the rpms move a little bit. when im shifting gears i can kinda smell gas...

ok i got new spark plugs to try to fix my bogging problem and that didnt help. i brought it to one of my buddies shops and its not electrical he said its eather the spark plugs or the fuel injectors. could this be?here are the fuel injectors im getting...

personally i perfer the 96 stock rear end. the newer ones are more bubbly just as mentioned above. :talon:

yes that is per bulb unless it comes in a pack of 2. and someo f them are blue but the silverstars appear to be more whiteish and have a purple tint to them from what i had seen onmy old car.

ya because i want to get a dark purple that from far away it looks black, but close up its purple and have flake in it and my friends dad owns a shop and he said around 2,500 for the paint and clearcoat.

yes it has a 6 month warranty. but what i ment by 1/4 the way down it was the gas pedal but i know why its doing that. and sometime my car stalls when im moving and i push in the clutch while shifting, the rpm's get so low it shuts off the car. and i will go buy some throttle body cleaner tomorrow.

ok so what does it mean by Chrome Housing/Clear Projector i know the chrom housing means the inside is chrome but whats the clear? is that mean the headlights are the white color or is it the lens thats clear?and for the chrome housing and blue projector would mean the lens is blue?

ok well my stumbling is still occuring and its worse now. now when i push the gas more it kinda like bogs down but if i have it 1/4 the way down it is fine. and i got the bosche platinum spark plugs with the 2 prong things for spark and i got them because on the because on the box it said no...

well of course because all the sound isnt getting to you its going other places and when the top is up it stays concealed inside the car mostly.

umm lets see my sub is rated at 400 watts rms and i have a 100-200 watt rms amp!! and it still hits 140 so it cant be the amp. and the box is the appropriate soze so therefore its his subs. i think he has more then 100-200 watts rms going to the sub...

heh get this you have 2 12"s and it hit 134 and i have one 12" and it hits 140. what kind of subs u got? i would suggest jl audio w6v2 which is what i got.

no i push it at the top or middle towards the head. not down. what could it be then?

well in my talon i just have the box pointed towards the hatch and the amp mounted in the hatch. idk how it is with the convertable but i would suggest pointing it towards you and pointing up. how much room you got in the trunk/hatch?

where can this crank pulley be located? i mean when i push in the belt cover it stops so i was thinking that maybe a bolt was loose somewhere?

or just buy an actual car sub i would suggest jl audio

ok personally you should get a JL Audio sub. i have a jl audio w6v2 sub and they hit around 130-140 Db for one 12"! i suggest these alot.
