Some old lady around here apparently ran over somebody and didn't realize it; She dragged him for a few miles. Perhaps you should check for bodies? ROFL
Your options would be limited. You would need to drop the pan and pull the caps off your connecting rods. Barring any obvious damage, you would need plastigage to find your clearances. The results will determine the next step. The previous owner on my n/t had let the problem go long enough...
Have you done a boost leak test, are you sure your new connections aren't leaking? If a leak has developed you may be losing metered air when your BOV actuates (or leaks). It might not be repeatable when free revving because it is difficult to blow-off when not under load.(at least stock)...
First off, I am no expert. Take everything I say with a grain of salt.Perhaps you should check your radiator cap to ensure it is holding the pressure correctly, an unpressurized systems boils at a lower temperature. Also, I would be certain the the coolant/water mix is correct. Can you...
Yah, those B-shafts are junk. Don't run your engine with it makin that noise though! I have an engine that ruined its bs bearing, then kicked it out into the oil pan to be repeatedly struck by the crank, all while it is still spinning and throwing a fist full of shavings all over the engine...
I think you can put a N/T transmission on a turbo 4g63, but you have to use a N/T clutch/flywheel/pressure plate if you want to bolt it back together. I also think the turbo crank might have a locating dowel in it that isn't on the N/T flywheel, so you would need to grind that down. Again, I'm...
I don't think its the clutch. If it were the engine would rev and the car wouldn't accelerate. It seems like its grabbing fine if you can floor it and the revs don't increase. I have seen wierd problems like that come from a computer malfunction. Have you checked for leaking capacitors...
If it were me, I would buy the bare casting and reinstall all the goodies. Just be sure you have access to a spring compressor that will work on our head; I had a hell of a time finding one.
I noticed the boost gauge in your video was leaping all over the place. If memory serves, that isn't a true boost gauge, but simply a guestimation your computer is making. So, is there any chance it could be your computer at the center of all this? I have heard of leaking caps being a problem...
