DONT TACK WELD IT!!!! weld it all the way around. i had mine tacked and it leaked after like 4 pulls. had to pull it off and have it welded all the way around to get it to seal. this was on my old 16g chris

dont cut the belt!!!! you will still have to take all of the stuff off to put a new belt on. get it to tdc before taking the belt off and make sure that the dowel pins are up when reinstalling the cams or there will be bent valves and youll be pissed.chris

no, they are the same. all of the aftermarket valves and even the stock replacements are for a 90-99 eclipse on slowboys site...ports are different.

you will need to drill out the holes for the head studs. also there is no oil port for the turbo on a 2g head (atleast not mine), why dont you just take the 2g head and have the valves put into the 1g head. my local shop charges $2 a part to swap. so it might not be that expensivechris
