I was just wondering where to get the OEM hoses for the radiator, vacuum and such. I have about 121,000 miles and I want to replace the stock hoses in the engine bay. I will also be changing my VC gasket soon since my engine currently looks like the pic on the first page.
Can you guys recommend the best place to purchase OEM hoses. Should I just get them straight from the dealer or does some other store carry them? I'm planning on replacing all the hoses.
Well guys, I was planning on checking it out this weekend but the squeaking disappeared. I guess I just needed to break the new pads in. Again thanks for all the help guys.
I'll go ahead and try that tomorrow since I have it available. I thought the ones that came with the EBC brakes would be fine, I guess not. As usual, you guys have been helpful. :thumb:
That's what I would have thought also, but the pads are brand new. They are EBC Green pads. Also the left side works fine, actually it never squeaked after I installed it. Any other ideas? It's really irritating and I don't want to spend money on new rotors if I don't need it since the ones...
I changed my front brake pads 2 weeks ago. Everything went smoothly except for one problem. I noticed when I was removing the front right rotor (to have it resurfaced), it was loose from the hub. When I pulled it out, it just slipped out. With the front left rotor, I actually had to hammer...
I could've done the job myself but I had no choice since it broke down after work. I actually had to get it towed to the dealer, good thing my insurance covered the towing part. :D
Well mine broke 2 days ago and I just got it fixed through the dealer for $500.00. Basically I had to replace the crank pulley and the accessory belts (power, ac, and I think water pump). The tech said I was lucky since I wasn't driving the car when it broke. I was at work and when I started...
Anyone know how to adjust the ebrake on a 2G? I know I need to adjust it since it's not grabbing and I need to pull it very high before it does start grabbing. Any help or links appreciated. :thumb:
I have done the home made camber for the rear and I still have -2 and -2.25 on the rear. I added 4 washers on each corner, maybe I should increase it to 6 washers or more. Any one have any thoughts?
Well I got my car aligned this weekend and I was told that the toe and caster was adjustable to factory specs however they said that I need cambers for the front and rear tires. They told me that the left and right fronts are -1 and the rear tires are -2 and -2.25. The mechanic said that...
Hey wret, I really appreciate your help bro. I was able to fix the problem with the tires rubbing. You were right about the fender flanges. Thanks again!!! :thumb:
I just bought wheels for my spyder and everything looks good. The problem is that when I drive the car and hit a dip on the road or freeway, I can hear a noise on the rear left that sounds to be the tires rubbing. The thing is, it only happens on the left rear not the rear right wheel. I've...
From experience, if you are stock, you will get beat. Also I'm not sure about the 92 MR2 turbo's but my friend has a 93 MR2 Turbo and his came with an LSD so traction wasn't a problem with him. I raced him from a stop and he pulled on me. I also raced him from a 1st gear roll and I was able...
I checked online and I got the following for this code: O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 1). My question is, how do I fix this and how do I know which O2 sensor needs to be replaced. I'd appreciate any help on this problem. Thanks. :thumb:
I had the same thing happened to me when a shop lost the key to the OEM lug nuts I had on my car. I just went to the Mitsu dealer and they used some kind of impact gun to remove the key lug. It took awhile but eventually they were able to remove the key. :thumb:
I use to buy Fram then switched to Mobil 1 oil filter for $9.99, then I read something about the OEM oil filter being as good or maybe even better than Mobil 1. So now I just buy my oil filter through the dealer, it's only $5.00 for the filter.
How do you check your camber without going to a shop to do an alignment? I was planning on doing the rear camber kit that's on the VFAQ and he mentions to check the camber so you can tell how many washers you need to use. Is there a way to check the camber manually before I actually have a...

I need to replace the stock speakers on my car and I was wondering what kind of speakers have a good treble and bass sound. I want a good clean sound. I don't have any experience in car audio so in need of help. Someone was telling me that I should get rear speakers with a good bass (since I...
