Updated my post. Sorry for not being more specific. Thanks:thumb:Anyone locally living near Downtown Los Angeles has a boost leak tester handy? Just wanted to double check my recently replaced intercooler silicone hoses for leaks and make sure that its in tip top shape.
Warranty services done are private per dealership. They can't pull up any info's made to your car from other mitsus. Unless your car had been blacklisted. This in turn is available to all Mitsu dealership.Just save that money and use it for something more important. I would suggest having...
Subaru Dealership? Ouch! Better get this thing taken care of or your screwed. If they suggest that you take the car for repairs at your local Mitsu Dealership, better think twice. If that is the case, then remove all the mods and go stock. Unless, you know of a friendly Mitsu shop.Another...
Just a heads up to a fellow Evo owner...Make sure to take the car only at the dealership that you purchased it from. Why? If you were to take the vehicle to a different Mitsubishi Dealership, they would automatically void your warranty for the mods! If you start to notice something weird w/...
I've recently acquired a used transmission that's in need of a rebuild. I thought of doing it myself to save money and learn something new. The problem is I have never done this before and worried about the whole process. If your willing to give a helping hand and located near downtown LA...
EvoIX owner here. I started a new thread last night and it was moved to the hangout forum. ROFLAnyhow, since I started out as a dsm'er, it's really hard to move away from this site. I always find myself checking out what's new and what others have to say in regards to what they have to say...
LOL 93. Yes, it was well worth the wait (must of sold a gazillion stuff). :sneaky:I still have my Eclipse and have no plans of letting her go. Still love my dsm. Even after all the love and hate relationship we shared.:thumb:
Hello Socal Tuners,This year is almost over and normally each year I would buy a few mods for my special dsm. However, this year will be different. No new mods for my ride or out of the country trips. This time I've decided to do something different and big. I've decided to take that next...

Congratulations!:rocks: Nice writeup. :thumb: Good luck next month and make sure to fix that wheel bearing issue of yours. Oh, post video runs next time. Now box up that Evo of yours and send it my way.:D
Step on the clutch pedal all the way down and slowly release the clutch pedal (of course while in 1st gear and running) and see how much free play you have before the clutch starts to grab (post your answer). If it's grabs at least a 1/3 way up, then your fine. You don't want it grabbing off the...
Keep up the great work. Best of luck to you and your build. Don't forget to post more pics of the build and VIDEOS!:thumb:Wow, you purchased your dp all the way from RRE. I'm only a few miles from them.Keep us posted.:rocks:
Since your still having issues regarding adjustments, i would suggest asking a local tuner (maybe post another thread) in your area for help. I'm sure someone is willing to cruise over to your pad and give a helping hand.Just make sure to offer something for their trouble. Perhaps, gas!:D
Here you go...RRE's Clutch And Flywheel Tech InfoScroll down and read up on clutch adjustments.Once you've adjusted your clutch rod for proper free play off the floor, you would also need to make sure that your upper pedal stop adjuster is adjusted as well for top pedal travel. Meaning...
Before you start playing w/ the master adjustment rod, please make sure to read up on rre clutch adjustment info. Sometimes the upper clutch adjuster needs adjusting as well. Make sure that there is a little free play off the floor before the clutch begins to grab. Small amount of free play at...
I've had this problem in the past. If it's side to side, it's most likely to be your tie rod ends. 12 and 6 o'clock play means it's your wheel bearing.Good luck and let us know once it's repaired.
When was the last time you check for boost leak or maintenance? Whats the condition of your spark plugs, plug wires, etc...? Heck, your front o2 sensor might be kicking the bucket soon.If your wideband is properly installed and w/ a good working wbo2 sensor, i would trust the wideband reading...
I had the exact same issue in the past. Brand new 2100, fidanza flywheel, street disc, oem throwout bearing, fork and ball. Give it a few more miles and see if it goes away. Just take it easy on the clutch. If it doesn't go away, try adjusting your master.
Wow! There's a bus ready for loading a bunch of idiots.ROFLFellow tuners, please think twice (fvck it...just don't do it) before going to or showing up in a street racing scene.Just a reminder, cars involved in street racing are now being crushed.YouTube - california cops crushing illegal...
I hope that this is a good learning experience for us dsm'ers. If your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, get it towed back home on the same day or stay w/ the car until you get help.Sorry for your lost. I had a VW in the past and it was broken into as well the night before my...
What are you talking about?! Bush said that we are not even close to recession. The economy is in great shape and jobs are growing. ROFL What a bunch of BS lies! It's sad when he himself does not want to admit that our economy is falling apart.New World Order/Amero anyone?
Lucky guy. Try that here in Burbank Court or CHP area and you will still need to pay the exuberant amount of fines. I started a link regarding this issue. Your friend is mighty fortunate. On a positive note, Glendale Court only fined me $10 for a fix it ticket, plus the additional misc. fines...
Replacing your front o2 sensor is no harder than replacing your oil. As for the cat, your car already has a great amount of mileage to it. It's a good suggestion to replace your cat as well.Just a heads up...I recently passed my emission test w/ the help of a fellow tuner lending me his cat...
Just here to say hello to all fellow dsm tuners from the other side of the world. I have decided to go on vacation in my tiny little island (in Korea) after the BS issues that I had to put up with regarding state ref and court emission fines. Also tried golf for stress relief. You'll notice that...
There is no such thing as keydiver.com You might want to double check your suggestion before posting it.It can be found here - KEYDIVER Chips - DSM ECU Tuning
I have the same issues. My car pulls to the left and is long overdue for an alignment. My front passenger sides tire inner wall is almost ready to go.This is w/ koni shocks and eibach springs.
Keeping her as fwd would be the ideal thing to do. Just add LSD, convert to 5 speed, plus some good tires and she's good to go.Check everything including fuses.
If you really want to get the best out of your car, get dsmlink. Like the other member mentioned, you have a 95 model, check your ecu for eprom. Here - DSMLink HomepageHere - DSMLink - FAQ - EPROMHere - www.vfaq.comHere - Tech Guide - DSMtunersIf you so decide to purchase a...
The Judge was just ranting about modified vehicles. I was not cited nor ticketed for a modified exhaust/muffler. He was just assuming that i did on my ticket. After checking the link you provide (po-po forum), most likely he has a stock exhaust set up and cited for its suspicious muffler tip...
After spending almost 8hrs in court today from 7am to 3pm, I still ended having to pay the $450 fine!!!WTF Plus the amount of bullshittt that i had to put up with regarding the maximum 2hr allowable parking limit. Not to mention trying to make time coming in and out of the court room to find a...
