just go to walmart and look in their automotive section and look on the shelves with all the interior/exterior lights and bulbs. they're gel color covers or something like that.

you can get those colored lightbulb condoms to make the blue color even deeper. it might show up even better then. i found them at walmart.

not everyone has access to a welder or has the experience to properly weld the piping. So in most cases, it would be expensive and probably done wrong if anyone and everyone just did it themselves. :p

i've never actually run 12s on a 14b but i'm guessing it would be a lot easier to do it with a 16g or something bigger. Seeing as how the 14b is most likely running past its best efficiency when trying to propel the car into the 12s.

my car had the same weird headlight issue that the first car in the post had... one perfectly clear and the other one was about as clear as a mud puddle... with oil... anti-freeze... and yeah. it was dirty.

for being as old as they are? the 1gs were made up 'till and through '94. There have been plenty of cars made in the same years as the 1gens and they look great or they still have a "new age" look as you put it. Age has nothing to do w/ it. :p

There's a section somewhere on imortintelligence.com that tells you how to "make" the needles. All they did was scrape the paint off of the needles and then use a colored sharpee magic marker to turn it a different color. Its really simple. No need to buy or actually make new needles.

my friend has blue neons under his car and he's never once been pulled over for them... he was pulled over for have blue turn signals but that was it. I don't believe have blue neons under your car constitutes as impersonating a police officer/vehicle.

i really don't udnerstand why everyone is hatin' on neons... there's nothing wrong with them if done well. What i mean is, as long as you can't see the neon tubes.

I must be stupid. i know i've seen the thread in this forum before on how to do it yourself. You can use a heat gun or just stick the headlights in the oven but i don't have a heatgun and i don't know what temp or how long to put the headlights in the oven for. I've done in a search in the forum...
