I cant figure out why my car isnt working after replacing the broken flexplate. But I just remebered that my dad towed me home after I broke down on the side of the road. He just hooked a rope to the car and I put the auto in nuetral and went home. I heard that you have to have your auto tranny...
I need to know because I' m told my TCU isn't sending any signals to the transmission.
I was wondering if the galant/3000gt/hyundai cars use the same Transmission Computer (Because I know they share some trans part)Thanks guys.

My car doesnt have a "in-radiator" trans cooler. It was outside of the car (like most people on this topic have, opposite the SMIC). I just took out the old one with old lines and put this one it with new lines.
There is a search function for a reason, all these topics have been covered many times before. No, you wont hear the BOV period unless you let off the gas (throttle plate closes). Most like 5spd due to you being able to control every shift and its more of a drivers car, but autos can brake boost...
This is strange, I have the same exact looking cams in my car but the say J instead of B (exact same spot, lettering, and had those little dots next to it) Anyone know anything about this?
It's working great. My engine temps are down at normal. As you can see, the trans cooler is behind the fmic and in front of the radiator in that pic. Works good. :thumb: And of course, trans temps are low too. :)
XTUNE 95-99 AWD Cat Back Exhaust Review
I recently bought the Xtune exhaust. Like most I liked that it was a cheap solution to getting a 3" Exhaust for the car. For $238 shipped, who can beat that? It came in within 2 weeks....The exhaust looked clean and the welds were nice. This...
Vendor review content removed. Why is my info getting taken off? I dont want anyone else getting ripped off! I have proof that this exhaust is not good! And after further inspection I see that the inside of the muffler is 2.25"!!!You see, a water bottle is a little under 2.5" in diameter...
You didnt get that xtune exhaust yet did you? Your up for some problems. I have mine sitting right here. The inside of the muffler is 2.5" and theres one 2.25" flange but its all on a 3" pipe. Im talking with ebay right now for a return, if you can cancel it, CANCEL IT! Im serious.
Yea, the stock true stall is around ther but its stall is arounf 1000 something. If you get a 3500 converter your true stall will be around 4000 something. I use mobil synthetic trans fluid with the lubeguard. ANd i have full race rebuild, 3500 hi stall, shift kit, etc. and I would definatley...
They can cost anywhere from 1k to 2k or a little over. Its not going to drop your et's unless yours is slipping right now. If you get a rebuild its just going to bring it back to stock... 1500 is not enough to do everything u want. I just had mine rebuilt for 2,000, plus a hi stall for 800, plus...
It could be a number of things. Your trans vents "could" be clogged I guess. You could try to reduce the trans pressure by adjusting it on the valve body (wouldnt suggest for a newbie mechanic though). This guy built your trans and the vents are clogged? Seems kinda strange to me. How long ago...
Im sorry guys. I did it about a month ago and didnt take pictures. If anything happens again Ill definatley make a whole pic by pic writeup of the process. And BTW: JaSteel13's Write up is exactly what you need to do. There is not a step missing in his writeup. (just some written errors but...
My trans stick has a seal. Look for leaks arounf the input shafts and the lines. If you cant find anything there, get the dye you can put in the fluid so that when you put a black light on it you can see where its comming from.
Yea thats what i thought aswell. But when you search on Car-part.com you have the option of a 21spline. But i guess there confusing it with the yolk. Thanks.
I need the pic of where the piping goes and connects to the t25. I need to know the routing that I can get it to fit retaining the stock fans. Basically I need to prove someone wrong that says you have to route it under the crossmemeber to fit a uncut t25 with stock fans. I know its bogus and...
Your fine. A flush is when you get the fluid out of the converter as well as the trans. Getting a simple trans fluid changed shouldnt be much of a problem. Just add the amount of fluid you take out and your fine. Yes, there is a chance it could make problems worse, I wont lie, but draining off a...
