Anyone else using this in your tranny? What are your thoughts on it?I just started using it and so far I'm not very impressed. I get a lot of gear grinding whether the car is cold or not.

Yeah.... my driver's side door handle fell off! I just got done having dinner with my girl. I walked up to my car, went to open the door...aaaaand the handle breaks off and hits the ground. I'm thinking to myself WTF was that for? A clean break, nobody tried to break into the car or...
Yes, but if you make the exchange fast enough you'll hardly lose any because there isn't a ton of oil at the filter housing without the system pressurized. You'll get a little dirty, but that's about it.
Probably not the water pump. Do this1. Make sure your radiator fan is operating. It should cycle on around 195 degrees.
2. Check cooling system for air bubbles.
3. Check the Tstat to make absolutely sure it's opening.
4. Worst case... Make sure your car doesn't have milky looking oil...
I've considered fabbing up a sheetmetal shroud. I'm gonna give the whole jumped relay idea a shot and see how well it works. Then I'll go from there. I know the HP fans far outperform my puny ass 810 CFM fans, but I'm pretty sure a continous flow of 1620 CFM will suffice. We'll see. Thanks...
Yeah, I don't know why I even added that in there. The second fan would be useless in series... :coy: . Anyways, got it all set up so they cycle on just as the stock fans would (around 190-195) and it seems to be staying consistently between 189 and 199 which isn't bad though I'd like it a...
Negative, and I have a shitty radiator. Looks like someone tried to rape it, but it didn't cause me a problem before the slim fan was installed. Replacing anyhoo...
Ok, thank you for a useful response! My only concern in going that route was the amount of current draw it would produce. So, the 2 fans wired together (series or parallel?) don't pop the stock 30A fuse? I haven't taken the time to measure the draw.Nice car by the way. Well done.
I've recently installed a PTE 50 trim and inturn had to utilize a 12" SPAL slim fan in order for it to fit. This one fan, as I'm sure you can all imagine, is not doing it's job as I overheat after a couple of good hard pulls. Right now I have this fan running through the factory relay and temp...
I reduced my base timing to 0btdc and there has been no downside at all. If you have an AFPR, try tuning with that so the ecu isn't seeing so much correction and adding timing hence causing knock. I've got mine down to a max count of 9 in second and 4 in 3rd. Still working the bugs out, but...
I'm not knocking the MAFT, so I apologize for saying it sucks my ass :) I'm sure it is a great tuning tool for some people, I just don't prefer it. I don't want to offend the creator of this device.
Well, your right about me not having the hang of this tuning thing as I am still learning. I do know some people that are tuning geniuses who don't like this thing either. It's really more of a personal preference thing though really.
Well, my MAFT is set up for my injector size. As far as base fuel pressure goes, it's a good way to lean out your fuel curve without more timing advance from compensation.Bottom line, I've found tuning with the MAFT sucks my ass so I'm just going to use the AFC from here on out.
Well I hadn't seen your reply on the NABR board and my original post on NABR was after the post on Tuners and I had made changes in that time. I posted in 2 boards for more advice/help.Just to update, I zeroed out the MAFT (left it setup for 650s though), lowered my base fuel pressure to...
Did I say I expected the base settings to work? No, I said I can't figure out why my car is knocking no matter what I do. I've been adjusting the settings non stop and can't figure out how to tune the knock out.
Well, I did already learn how to tune the MAFT with my 14b and 450s. I had them tuned perfectly as a matter of fact. I don't know WTF is wrong with my new setup...The time you see was on my 14b and 450s @ 16psi on pump gas. I had every other mod that I have right now aside from the 16g...
So I've had a blow through MAFT on my car for a while now and had it running great with my 14b and 450s. Just yesterday I put in my new Evo III 16g and FIC 650s and set everything back to 0 with the base and aux set up for 650s. First the car wouldn't idle because it was too lean... fixed that...
SRT4=FWD=Dodge NEON= :thumbdownI'm not absolutely positive about the price but I think you could walk away with one of those new GTOs for around 25k and those are bad ass.
 That's a damn good question...Hey, I saw a POS blue 93 GSX at Southcenter Red Robin last night... you wouldn't know anything about that would ya? :D
Renton, WAIf you ever need any work done to your car or any parts there is an awesome shop in Kent called Pina Motorsports. The owner Andre can fab up just about anything you can think of and Nick could fine tune a horse. Check em out
Well, actually the funny part is that he doesn't start the fights... he just gets picked on. The way this fight started was Mark was standing at a table that these guys were sitting at talking to my cousin's wife. He decided to set his drink that he just bought on the huge table and the 3 guys...
