I bought an rnr turbo back, but there are no flanges. I have a hi-flo cat and the mix too. Can i slide these pieces together and just use some sort of band to hold everything together or is it supposed to have flanges welded on and be bolted together?

I did the tbelt on my car when I did a swap and put the engine back in and everything. Now the only problem I have is trying to get the cover back on! I really dont feel like unbolting the entire side mount to get the thing on there so can i just cut it in half through the opening for the mount?
