In my first post, I stated, "I took the dust shield off the flywheel to check if the teeth were all grinded up. They appear fine."I guess what I'm wondering now is, whether or not there's a way to tell if I have a fwd or awd flywheel installed by looking only through that shielded area.

BTW, the car is FWD 5spd.I'm thinking at the moment (although, I certainly hope not) the flywheel is from an awd. My buddy gave it to me thinking it was for a FWD (he had like 4 in his garage). Is there any way to check if the flywheel is a fwd or awd flywheel with the flywheel installed...
