Worked on it tonight. Swapped the CAS and ignition module/ignitor whatever it's called.Still no change. I did notice that the two passenger side cylinders are getting weak spark. It was dark, so when I pulled one of the spark plug wires from the good driver side cylinder, there was a strong...

    1G Misfire on Cylinder 3 and 4

ECU looks clean. The caps were replaced a few years back by the guys at ECMtuning. I know that there still could be a problem, but it has been serviced. No smells, no burns, no obvious ECU damage.I only have spare M/T ECUs and my car is a stock automatic GSX.Thoughts?C'mon, dude.

auto vs. manual: is it really THAT serious?

I have both. The white car in my avatar is a 90 AWD 5-speed and the green car is a 91 AWD auto. They both have they're pros and cons. If you're mainly drag racing, auto is the only way to go. You're going to be faster than a manual and probably break less often. If you're autocrossing or...

ECUflash ECUflash problem with 2G Blackbox ECU

Well looks I was completely wrong. Lost in the shuffle of my jumper harness for the 1G harness to 2G ECU conversion, I missed that important detail.Could I wire a 2.5mm mono jack directly to Pin 79 on the jumper harness, plug it into the Tactrix dongle, and be good to go?
