I agree. I think it is great that nate from slowboy saw the thread and said hey get a hold of me and we'll take care of this. I get paranoid sometimes because so many companies do say to bad it's your problem. Even if there were a problem with the clutch it's not slowboy's or any other dealers...
Did it sound weird or act weird before it went? I don't even have 100 miles on mine and my drivetrain is making a lot of funny noises and I can smell my clutch burning without even driving it hard. If it is that clutch they can shove it up their assess and give my 400 back.
Ok it has gotten really bad now. I parked it so I can figure this out. Now it is making a clunking noise in reverse and deceleration. I am also smelling my clutch without being hard on it. That clutch doesn't even have 100 miles on it yet. I think it sounds like the differential :confused but...
I just put in an SBR 3500 and fidanza flywheel. I am getting this loud rattling noise in third gear. At first it seemed like it was only when I was on the gas. Now it is there all the time. I can hear it slightly in fourth but not much. I can't hear it at all in any other gears. All I can tell...
OK nevermind I found out what Dave and Busters is. I have a major crack around my flapper to. I'm just waiting till I can change turbo and all. My whole exhaust housing and manifold are both about done.
I'm up for a meet anywhere as long as people are going to be descent. I'm new to this forum and would like to get together with some other tuners but from what I've heard of people just causing problems with one another I'd be better off learning on my own.
Well I solved the pressure in the coolant. It was actually just the brand new thermostat I put in was stuck open. Damn thing was only a week old. I think I am just getting condensation on my manifold because there are no longer any signs of anything wrong. If I figure anything else out I'll...
I have the same problem. I have the coolant spots, I have excessive pressure in my coolant, I just took the head off had it pressure tested and it was fine, put it back together, and the same thing. I'm guessing mine has to be either the block or the turbo.
The general rule for selecting your oil is to use the heaviest weight that is durable in the temperatures you will be driving in. If you look at the back of the bottle it will give you examples. Say if 5w-30 says good for -20 degrees to 70 degrees and 10w-30 is good for -10 degrees to 100...
