A car that light on a 60mm at 38psi.....should be trapping a lot more than that. Just doesnt seem like the car leaves very hard at all. I was spinning in 4th on MH's and the car was still trapping high 130s.Just seems like there could be more potential..-Kevin-
I cant tell you if it is safe or not as i havent tried to make big power with the balance shafts in....Though, as simple as removing the balance shafts is and as inexpensive as it is, its one less thing to worry about.No reason to put a motor at risk cause you didnt want to spend a couple...
Removed balance shafts out of my motor...Everything else was the exact same in my shortblock from the day it left the factory. Had 112k miles on my shortblock. I had ARP headstuds in mine with a non oem gasket(NOT oring'd)I think it could have taken more than what I made too. I dont see 700whp...
