I just boost leak tested my car and air is coming out of the turbo is there any way to fix that? I cant even find any other leaks cause its leaking so fast.:mad:
I just got done working on a merkur xr4ti it has the same motor as the mustang svo. a 2.3 litre turbocharged engine. the turbo on that thing looked considerably biger than the ol 14b. it said 60 ar on the side and the exaust side looked like a t3 set up. I bet if one were so inclined one could...
Ive been having a boost problem for a while now and I think Ive narrowed it down to what it could be. I cant get more than 11lbs of boost with my mbc turned all the way up. today I unhooked the air line that goes to the wastegate actuator and quickly made over15lbs. can a bad actuator do this?

does the flapper on an enternal wastgate have to seal to build boost? Ive been searching boost leaks for weeks and for some reason I cant build more than 11lbs. my boost controller is turned all the way up! so finally I rip out the 14b and see the wastegate flapper doesnt seat over the hole...

my stock struts wore out and I decided to replace them with oem KYB's(GR2) I also replaced the springs with sportlines. This is much stiffer than what I had. my car used to bottom out verry esaily and would travel the great distance of a stock suspension to bottom out. the new suspension setup...
at idle my oil pressure gauge is showing no oil pressure. it the stock gauge. My car seems to want to idle below 1000 rpm and lope. once the car died because of it. :confused:
when my ac is on and Im not in gear my car idles sparsticly. bogs way down and goes back to normal. sometimes it makes it die, well that happens alot actually :notgood:

I recently went through a local shop to buy new suspention right now the only thing I have is one strut two mounts and one boot. these are kyb agxs . it cost me 400 dollars :eek: does that sound right?
the oil feed line that goes into my turbo from the head still leaks. where the banjo bolt screws int the head is striped. These knuckle heads that rebuilt my head cant fix it. tried a heley coil but still leaks. does anybody have a solution? :cry:
