I have front and rear subframes with control arms and knuckles for a 2g GSX. All the bushings have been changed to prothane bushings. The differential bushings are swapped out for aluminum bushings. The wheel bearings have extended studs, front ball joints are adjustable. $200
You can remove the cooler completely by buying a new stud for the oil filter housing. You can get it at a Mazda dealer. part number # b630-10-319. It's only $10 and it will free up like 2" of clearance for you DP.
You can get them front sumit racing. I would recommend cutting the Tstat back a little before you weld up the fitting.Summit Racing SUM-220064 - Summit Racing® Weld-In Bungs - Overview - SummitRacing.com
Anyone know where to get a 2.5 inch cutout that is cable operated? I can only find 2" cutouts, like in jcwhitney. I can't find 2.5" cutouts. I can only find elecrtic cutouts I want a cable operated one.
I don't know if this has been asked or answered. But can I get the 6 blade hx40 wheel for my 8 blade hx40. Would the compressor cover need to be machined? Is this even possible?
Yea it is seriously gutted. Still all factory panels and glass. Still on the stock power leather seat. The car weighs 2520 and I weigh 240.All sound deadening removed. No stereo or speakers. no sway bars, no exhaust (just stock DP). Door bars removed. No power anything. custom rewired to...
That day at the track I didn't get my run in till about 5:45pm and the track was cold. I usually do a small burn out in the water box and this helps get my 60's down into the 1.7's and sometimes 1.6's. I didn't do one this time though cause my car was leaking coolant out of the overflow the...

You know the weight of the car? What was you 1/8 time and mph? You got enough mph to do some low tens once you get your 60's down, congrats on hitting 140mph.
how do you have your -6an line hooked up to your fuel pump housing now? Is it connected to the stock feed line or did you already use a bulk head fitting? If your still using the stock feed line, what you can do is cut the factory feed line off at the housing and leave about 1/4" left. Go get a...
I would machine in a lip on the end of the throttle to help keep IC pipes on. And maybe even make the lip a little wider for people using wide t bolt clamps.
Are there any problems running a plastic fuel cell with e-85? I know to run an aluminum cell you need to hard anodize it, but will e-85 eat through the plastic?
What about using a -8an return and right before the fuel tank you use a tee and have it split off to a -8an bulkhead on the fuel pump housing and the stock return tube also. You guys think this will give enough flow to have the siphon fuel from the other side of the tank?
Anyone know what this white plug is for? I took my dash off and it was there not connected. Also does anyone know where you can get those zip ties that go around the main engine harness and connect it to the body of the car?http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h75/Mikens6964/DSC01945Large.jpg...
I plan on using the water cooled part. But what I was wondering if anybody has ever seen a water cooled hx-40. As far as I knew they were only oil cooled. And this one looks even diferent with 2 ports on each side for the water cooling.
Its not so much for the cops, it more for not having to smog my car. Its hard finding a hook up on test only smogs in CA. I never get pulled over. I have a stock exhaust with a cut out on the down pipe. I tried sreaching for this, but most of the stuff that came up were to convert carb. cars.
I just wondering how hard it is to do? Cause once you have the sticker I would just set it up back for regular gas, this way when I get pulled over I can just show the cop the sticker.
Has anyone ever heard of converting your car to run on propane to make you car smog exempt? Supposedly it will become a alternative fuel car and once it is certified it will never have to be smoged again. I found out about this on honda tech. Here is what the guy said:Yes, the B20 is a...
I relocated my battery to my subframe. I use to have a pc680 lightwieght battery, but it didn't last to long (about a year). That thing was $115 shipped. I made my hold down out of a stripe of 2" wide aluminum from home deopt. I just used one of the old bolt holes that the stock battery tray...
I just got done doing this on a 2G. I went from the pump to the rail, with a areomotive fuel filter. All my hose ends went on easy. I used a cuting wheel. This was my first time using steel braided lines. I just followed the stock hard line. I just used alot of zip ties to mount the line to the...
I don't know if the nexus guages have the same features as Defi. I would have to check autometers website. But I love but defi's. The one thing I like is the record feature. It records all the gauges at once. This way you can make a pass then check your boost and EGT together for each gear.
Anybody run Velox PG-5S? They are 17x7 and weigh 12.5lbs. They look exactly the same and the track lites but weigh 2lbs less per wheel. I've been wanting to get these rims for a while now. They are forged.
I have my electric cutout on the first bend of the downpipe. One big problem your going to have is boost creep. My car was fine with a 35mm tial on the exhaust manifold with a 3" exhaust, but with the cut out there it would creep no matter what I set it at. It would go from 12psi to 26psi. I had...
I'm getting a big boost leak form where the compressor housing meets the turbo, anybody else having this problem with there hx-35? Is there suppose to be some type of o-ring there or something? If I get it to stop leaking from one spot it will leak from another. Maybe I need a new snap ring.
On my hx-35 that I got used there is a restrictor on the inlet. It is removeable. On bullseye powers website they show there pics with the restrictor removed. What does everyone else do?heres bullseyes picHeres mineEDITI guess my pics aren't coming up. You can see...
