Depending how big you are.... Sparco EVO QRT seat with the HD aluminum side mounts and their seat base will fit with a little work. If you need a wider seat then the regular, it would probably still fit but I might be a little off center.
I'm thinking I'll move the pump so I can put a cooler that fits better like my oil cooler, can see the picture how I ducted the oil cooler to the bumper, I am going to mirror that on the passenger side. I have everything ducted and sealed up pretty well up front, makes quite a difference in the...
I'm running a transcooler on mine. Oil drain to filter, to oil cooler, to Tilton pump, return back to trans at the fill plug. Tapped the case and use a 180deg thermoswitch switch to kick it on.
Mine are extremely close, but they were made from the plans posted on here somewhere. My pads still over hang the top of the rotor maybe 1mm.
If it isn't touching, then it shouldn't be a issue
If you are worried about weight, then you must not really need bigger brakes. There are two piece cobra rotors, just going to cost you $600 for the pair.
K.I wouldn't bother going to the vr4 caliper without going to the 13.1" rotor, unless you just want the look. The reason I went this path was to get as much metal as possible to disipate the heat.
Thought I would update this thread.I took my car out to Highplains Raceway, a 2.5 mile road course here in Colorado.
The brakes did fantastic. Never faded. This was with Porterfield R4 pads.
Like others said, on the second video, you seemed to be slipping the clutch to much. I'd try and let the pedal out a little quicker as soon as you are rolling.
Is there another thread that actually has consolidated info?
Has anyone had a problem with the pads over hanging the rotor a little bit? After searching the internet for quite a while, the best "race" pad I could find was Porterfield R4.
The real advantage is more steel to displace more heat.I wouldnt go with this option if you do a lot of racing. The brake pad selection for the 3000gt sucks.
Bosch 044 inline and keep the paxton as a feeder pump to the bosch, or a single A1000. Might consider the new Walbro 450 as well, probably the least expensive option.
Um good luck with that. Your prices are rediculous. For example, you can buy a brand new Tial for $230.... so if you really want to sell your stuff you may want to rethink your prices.
Is your o2 sensor dead? Running 14.5:1 is best for emissions, running lean will cause high nox, not sure what all they look for on at test in your area.
You need to correct spring compressor for one.
YA9140A, Compressor, Valve Spring, UniversalIf you just put a turbo on and then the car starts smoking, obviously its the turbo. Check the drain line, maybe the gasket is blocking the return or something.
The stock valve springs can handle 7000+ rpm no probelm, especially on a stock cams. I ran mine up to 8000rpm on the stock springs and FP2 cams.
Without cams and a intake manifold there is probably no point i reving that high because the torque will tank at 7k rpm. You should be able to figuer...
<--- Yes, they doI never ran my bolton T04e 50trim that low on boost, but it sounds about right. If you arent getting knock, turn the boost up. Even 22 psi isnt breaking a sweat on that turbo, and you'll be over 300whp then.
