I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I just bought a tial 44mm wastegate. I put the springs in for 20psi and it hit 40psi. Went home and put in the springs for 10 psi and still hit 40. I'm not using a boost control hooked up from turbo to side Port on the 44.

I have the nx proton kit with 35 50 75 100 shot. How do I use this to get my auto up on the converter? It is set up to work on a push button. Do I just bump the button a few times till it reaches the correct rpm for launching?
Cams would give you a nice gain in power.
Its not going to mess up gas milage. If you want better milage stay out of boost.

With 2.5 when you lose battery power it defaults to whatever settings are on your eprom. Example you now have 1000cc injectors but your default is setup for 550cc your car will not run till you are able to correct your dead time and global.

I have a turbo that I believe died. It was the agp lr3. I removed the housing and was wanting to know what other chra can I put in the exhaust housing?Can you tell the size of the housing?

I would say get a older f250 7.3L turbo diesel. I have a few of these trucks for my business and one of them pulls a 24' trailer everyday! I get about 12-14 mpg pulling the trailer. Put a aftermarket chip in it will make a big difference in power.

I have a Agp Lr3 that I believe is dieing. Its not smoking but making a grinding sound like maybe bad bears. There is also black residue on the back of the housing. I know BB turbos cant be rebuilt but I was wondering if it could be made into a standard chra turbo?
Dont go pulling the motor just to put a 6 bolt in it. Do a compression test and leak down test to see how healthy the motor is. Then follow the tech guide
Whats the point of installing cams if your not going to be able to tune the car correctly? Are you planning ahead? You might be better of spending your money on something else; what other mods do you have?
If its doing it with dsmlink installed see if you have the fans turned on under misc.
My fans turn on before the car does. I run with them on all the time.
