I noticed very little difference in low end power between the FP3's and stock cams.

My FP3's idle well, and low end feels like stock. Gained 3.5 lbs/min with 3psi less boost and Ive barely started tuning it yet.

Go bigger then the 50-trim, you'll end-up ditching the 50-anyway. Turbo lag is way over-rated, full boost is just a downshift away.

Good power on pump can still be made, its all in your tuning and set-up. I would reccommend investing in a good efficient FMIC, which will help aginst the lower efficency of the 54-trim.
