the type of switch you would need is a "hobbs switch" not sure off hand where to get them but thats what you would need... works just the opposite of a circuit breaker... the switch will remain in open loop until a desired boost level is reached and this will close the loop if current thus...
sorry for digging up a slightly old post, but what the hell is JDM... wasn't the only thing different about a USDM and "JDM" car the tail lights? Correct me if I'm wrong but I THINK that was the only difference, and do you think that in japan there's a bunch of ppl trying to get that "USMD"...
The post above is sure to piss some FWD guys off... LOL , but in all honesty, you're right... you're throwing money out the window... IF you're dead set on that shell... save some cash and just buy a used stock 6bolt running motor, do a evo3 16g,fmic, some 660s, a maft and put the other 2k in...
unfortunately... you will never find the inner quarterpanel for a 1G dsm... OEMs arent avail. anymore and a aftermkt. wasn't ever in production... my suggestion... go to a scrap yard w/ a cutting torch.. and just lop off the back right and take it home... carefully drill the spotwelds out of the...
We used to be in a dealer co-op type program and thats all we ever used was SEM products... this was only for OEM type repairs... now if I were to be using it for grafting and molding and whatnot... i would NOT recommend using the SEM products... while it is a less expensive product... doing it...
I painted my 1G TSI wheels gunmetal w/ a polished lip and it looks textured.. its the wheels not the paint... by the way.... lemme see those 2G GSX wheels in bronze... thats something different... as far as GSXs on a 1G in gunmetal or silver... check the 1G Gallery... plenty of um... GL :thumb:
not to hijack the orig. post but does anyone know if that front bumper cover on the red 1gb is a one off deal or does a company sell those... best looking 1gb aftermkt cover i've ever seen... oh... nothing beats a clean stock body 1g... but that sniper wing is a damn close second :thumb:
the bumper doesn't have to come "off" just take the 2 screws out and pull the bumper down and out of the way...also... don't forget that the splast shield or "wheel liner" may have some clips in the fender also..
I am trying to fing a wing for my 93 because the holes for the factory were welded up and i want something a little different... anyone have pics of some other wings on their 1Gs... no aluminum... I really want something like that "wangan CF wing for the 2Gs.... but i guess thats 2 much to ask...
