I haven't heard enough type o to tell you honestly. I just know the very first time I heard them I didn't like it too much. Then the sound started growing on me and never quit.
My favorite band is Underoath. I honestly don't have a favorite song. But I do have a favorite album.Define The Great LineI can listen to that album over and over.
Lost in the Sound of Separation is a great album too.
I always had mine in the number 1 runner in the manifold. Honestly though, I rarely ever looked at it. So it made it worthless. If you're going to do any kind of tuning, I would definitely get a wideband.
Well I'm on my iphone and I can't view your logs. It sounds like a coolant temp sensor to me. I'm pretty sure DSMlink logs coolant temps. Next time you go out to your car after it's sat for a while don't try and start it. Boot up link and check your coolant temp. It should be fairly close to...
Why don't you just run the water lines the way they were intended? There's a hard metal line that comes off the water pipe and connects to the front of the turbo. Then there's another smaller metal line that goes from the back of the turbo to the thermostat housing. I'm pretty sure you may even...
Ugh. This is a tough choice. I've been a gamer since the Atari 7800. So many great memories with a lot of those listed. But, I would have to put my vote in for the N64 to me that system just seems to have the most games I remeber and love. Mario 64, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Starfox, Turok...
I would rather do 2 head gaskets. The clutch pedal assembly on a 1G makes me invent new curse words. And the job really doesn't seem to get any easier no matter how many times you've done it.
Yeah man, I'm having a little trouble finding the right axle actually. And no, it's left hand drive. It's just got a huge bar that runs over to the booster.
It's been a while since I updated this but I've been busy. This thing still has as a small chance of making it to the Shootout, it just needs a passenger axle.
So the engine bay is finished. At least until we take it back apart later on down the road. We decided to paint it a semi-gloss black and clear it. Finished it up today. Heres some pics:And no. I did not paint over the VIN plate. It is masked off :)I painted the underside of the hood too...
Well I got some more clean up done in the engine bay today. Pulled the rack and sway bar too. I think I'm done cleaning the engine bay finally. I am going to go over it with a scuff pad and some primer maybe this weekend. We agreed on just painting the bay black. It will help whats under the...
Holy crap thats light! I appreciate all your info man. I am in the midst of doing some wiring for this thing at the moment. I am going to do some more cleaning tomorrow and will post up some more pics.
Well heres one we're working on at the moment. It's going to be a nice little street terror. Mods as of now will be:
4g63, Big 16G, Front Mount, Evo fuel pump, 550cc injectors, 2g MAS, BC 272 cams, and lots of weight reduction. Gutted the dash, crank windows, manual locks, 2 seats and a...
Yeah project stock block was on there when we got it. Suspension we're not sure of. Probably just to leave it alone for now, although I do have some 1G AWD lowering springs to try out.
Hi all, My friends and I found a good deal on a Mirage turbo that we just couldn't pass up. It has some fire damage but nothing too serious, just some wires, a fender, and a hood. I've got a lot to learn about these things, like getting the dash out lol. There must be some hidden bolts...
Holy hell, how did I forget about the 1g clutch pedal assembly!! I have NEVER been so mad while working on a car! It is a constant frustration the entire time your working. Your stuck upside down in a cramped spot with a beam right in the middle of your back, and even the handspace is cramped.
1G Rear struts. Those bottom bushings just weld themselves on! Oh, and the time my cousin and I swapped his motor. We pulled the engine out of one car then pulled another one, then put it in the first car, running and completely driveable in less than 2 days.
From his avatar that is a decent, clean 1g. Those are getting very hard to find. I say keep it.On, the reliability issue, I drove a DSM to school and back everyday. At 70 mph it was an hour drive one way. I never had a problem with that car. I just maintained it like I was supposed to.
My friends and I will be staying at the Best Western this year. Same place we've been for the past 6 years. If, and I mean a big if, everything goes well we will be driving 5 DSM's and a GVR4 there.
Well about a month ago the car got backed into and after insurance looked at it they decided to total it out. It already had a salvage title so I was just going to find another shell. I happened to find one and it looked pretty good from the pictures I saw. Well I gear up and drive 361 miles to...
