ok i was on the expressway and was in torque converter lock punched it a little and like a popping noise came from the engine bay, then blue smoke was pouring out the back. i thought it was oil but turns out to be transmission fluid, so i guess what im asking is, has anyone had this problem...

ok i have one of these problems i think... except my car on cold start idles 1500 then slowly edges its way to 2100 sometimes 2300, the times when it does reach that far it falls quickly to about 1300 then back up to 2100-2300. the idle isnt really sporadic though, it doesn't vary much at all...

ive looked all over for this so... im having problems finding what wire out of the distributor that the green tach wire goes to... ive got all the other wires hooked up and working... but no actual rpm's reading on this tach. This is and aftermarket tach with a shift light.thanx :dsm:
