I can vouch for Jim's new car (minus the bug splatter, clean it you bastard). This thing is pretty much the cleanest 2G you'll find in the best color combo, it definitely qualifies to carry on the NW legacy as the 2G Virgin since I no longer have the Virgin 1G.
Or you should set the viewing threads on your own forum settings to less than ~1 month, hmmm that would be a smart idea so you don't make yourself look completely stupid again. ROFL
It's not my car any longer but Rex assured me he wouldn't eBay it out and I'll trust him on that. I'll remove it eventually, not on the top of my list of things to do.
Most of the 1Gs posted thus far haven't been too clean. From the NW, which has quite a few clean 1Gs:My Car (or at least until last month :( ):http://www.llarian.net/~gomer/eclipse/wax/DSC01957.jpgRich Cangie's Old Car:Tony Goddard's 92 Talon TSi AWD:
www.englishracing.net in Washougal/Camas, WA. Only person you need to know for anything DSM/Evo in that area, Lucas is an absolute tranny whiz as well. Just give him a call and he can set you straight on any questions.
Watch Washington State beat them all. WSU is my rival school but they will surprise a ton of teams in the tournament because they play a style that most can't adjust to.
ACC is over rated and due to the strong majority of the polls for Top 25 being east coast you can see the bias that is created. Duke shouldn't even be inside the Top 20 right now.Strongest conference is Pac 10, no doubt in my mind. Throw our lower half seeds against top half seeds in any...
In all honesty, you won't find too many amazing tuners in the Seattle area. I know a few who are great at DSMs but they won't tune others cars anymore, they got out of that business. One of the best tuners in the country is located down in Portland at RRev Motorsports. If you have ANY stand...
Here is one of the options you were trying to describe. I'll go more in depth on my views on this tomorrow because I'm tired as hell.http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e337/bizzmeister/RTA02-10-0759.jpg
I'm in college and the car is currently just sitting at home under the car cover not being driven. I have a second car so honestly I don't have much of a need for it as much as I love it. More than anything just time to move on to a different chapter in my life and get serious without having...
Only if you help me push it on to the trailer, driving it on to the trailer would mean miles. ROFLCan't make this, have family in town and a good friend coming up from Oregon.
I also managed to burn a gas station to the ground while you guys were holding it for ransom, thanks for the distraction.I also believe it pertained to Pacific Northwest members but the thread has gone to hell in a hand basket either way so whatever...
That 1G was already that clean when they got it. My friend that had the car has sold some of the cleanest 1Gs I have come across that aren't low mile, in person the GSX is in amazing shape too.
Those GR2s were out of my car... ROFLMy friend was the one who sold this magazine the car (originally from WA), and the previous owner ran a low 13 with a turbo-back exhaust, 15 psi and pump gas, just a little bit funny... Part of the retardedly slow times is the Walbro 255 with no AFPR and...
Center for Creative Design, amazing school in automotive design.A designer needs to be well educated in physics and chem due to working with extensive aerodynamics, composite materials, and how aerodynamic properties act in certain different situations.Pininfarina, Bertone, Zagato, and Ghia...
You'll be lucky to finish this in time because there is quite a bit to automotive design which I have researched, know the schools of, main design firms, etc. This is a field that I am looking at going into is why. Not trying to harp but don't procrastinate so much.
Talk to Lucas English down near Portland for the rebuild, he will get you setup nicely on the rebuild. Even if it is a small drive to get it down, it is completely worth it. Most of the core NW DSM guys have been around for a while now and got sick of it here at Tooners, have their own site and...
Pretty damn sure that was the car at Pina a long time ago when it was getting the 2.4. Also, even further before that when it was with the old owner, it was *seen* at excessive speeds on I-5 which is a situation that is on film, online... WTF
This thread is entertaining, since there is still a partially operating NWDSM group on Yahoo! since 1998 and there is another very active group of NW DSMs/GVR4s/Evos (dare I say all of the fastest ones are there too, 9 sec Talon, numerous 10 sec cars) that is out there. They just like to hide.
ECU is fairly high, I have the recipt for the purchase of a brand new ECU from the original owner back in 2002. Totalled to $1126.94 and it was an EPROM brand new from factory.
1990talon, it sounds as though you haven't gone to school either or "no" much in the form of grammar and spelling. Just wanted to give you a hand in pointing that out. I can't recommend much up north though, good luck on finding someone.
