Hey guys. A customer brought this posting to my attention. Wanted my take on it. Here ya go...First, Mr Kel, let me say good job for pointing out to the folks about that little pee hole in those Triple Fs...indeed it is there. The NT cars don't have them...the 90 brackets don't have them...
None at all. Never had my greasy hands on one...never have even seen or heard of anyone running one for that matter. But what I do know is that it's a very expensive piece. Maybe more than it needs to be.Jackson, care to chime in? I'd be curious myself.
None whatsoever since I haven't had that many step up to the plate and have us Butcher one...let alone been out in the field long enough to surmise a valid opinion on one. Remember..we have to be fair about things like that. However, my gut tells me that the stocker is quite good to do the...
I second this. You're on the right track there buddy with the numerous orders of harmonics in a crankshaft and what they are for each crank design...as we've actually done this testing many years ago. I should try to dig that stuff up sometime since I've slept since then.NO ONE should ever...
Where did you gather this information from? Putting a power rating on a Butcher? lol Dude, you have more information than we do apparently. And from how many folks out there did you gather this info from? And were they even using a Butcher?Again, there are many variables in motor assembly...
I agree. Stock cranks have always been balanced pretty well from factory. On the average with OEMs over the years about 2 grams.Nothing Eagle has put out (or Manley for that matter) has been "in spec" out of the box from what I've been privy to. You best count on fixing it before assembly.
Buddy, I wouldn't have you pay for something and use if I thought it wasn't going to work out for you! lol I've built many of the same motor you have in over 13 years with NO returns. Think about that! There is A LOT of liability with a motor. It aint no turbocharger. You don't get that kind...
That is true Tim! The motor was an animal! But let's not forget that you were also running a 7 bolt Butcher in there. They do exhibit different strength characteristics/harmonics at that power level. Although a fantastic setup, you cannot compare the 7 to the 6 fairly and effectively. Apples and...
Problems with idling you have is an isolated case. You have other issues going on buddy. I've got two stroked full boogie cars sitting on the floor right now in fact with twin discs and alum rods with the Butcher that rev like crotch rockets. Very fun to drive. I'm not even including the cars...
Hey guys. I couldn't help but notice the word "butcher" pop up in recent posts. Naturally, I'm clicking on it.There are many things in here you guys need addressed so that you are better informed of our process over here. I just felt there is a lot of tail chasing going on.So here goes...
Yep...I couldn't agree more.Grab a set here and don't screw around with anything else. We've used these for the past 8 years...never had to kill part of a day to extract a broken one.:thumb:www.ffwdconnection.com/ssstudkits.shtml
