Thats like asking why you drive a little 4 cylinder car instead of the big mighty V8. Besides, my manhood is very large so I don't need a big liter bike to compensate.

I got a CBR 600RR about a year ago. I love it. Did a few track days and now I'm hooked. I put less than 500 miles on the DSM this year because of it.

Did you push the piston back into the caliper? If not, thats why.

Just make sure all the clamps that hold the intake pipes together are tight.

Check all your intercooler pipes. Sounds like a possible boost leak.

I have a 2100 in my '97 AWD and have had no problems with chatter. The clutch has around 12000 miles on it and it still holding. It has held more power put on it than I thought it would.

I bet its a crankwalked 7bolt.

Mitsubishi would be more than happy to sell you any parts that you need. I don't think that is something you can go to Autozone for.

I would put them on. Dirt can nic the seals on the shocks and leak all the magic oil out. I learned this lesson the hard way.

I would replace both gaskets if you can. If not, you could get away with reusing it. The only tools you need are a 12mm and 14mm wrench.

I removed the hard line and ran stainless line back to the pump. The cheapest would be to check the clamp now and then. You could try putting 2 or more clamps on it also.

In the long run it would be less work to remove the manifold. If you go the turbo route you will have water and oil lines to deal with. You would also have to remove the downpipe, intake pipes, ect.

What fuel pressure are you running? What fuel pressure regulator do you have? Whats the condition of the rest of your fuel system?

I can't tell what you have going on by the picture. I assume that is a piece of metal wraped around the hanger so it should work fine. Rust might be a factor down the road.
