I wish they had timing chains... They far outlast the belts...I did chains and belts before but NEVER on the DSM dual overhead cam cars.. Too complicated, need special tools... Lots of work..Last time dealer did mine it was 480.00....

I have had a 91 Laser RS and now own a 94 GSX... The Laser would have probably had the GSX by at least 2 or 3 car lengths in 1/4 mile...These are fun road cars..

Because I have had the FWD and the AWD..... They both put out nearly the same horsepower, however, with AWD the power is divided by four wheel instead of two, and the AWD weighs more...
ONE CAVEAT.... The filter takes about two hours to service.... Once removed from the car, the cleaner is soaked on it for at least 10 minutes... Then the filter is washed with water, then it must dry... Then reoiled...., before it is reinstalled in the car....

Check the plugs, and the plug wires...Wifes car wouldnt climb a hill... Took 20 minutes.... very easy...Also the air filter...fuel filter... Could be stale fuel too...
I just did my wires and plugs.. Notice that the plugs were fairly loose.. Also some oil from valve cover... Took 20 minutes to change plugs and wires...One wire was white in the plastic boot area of the plug side... No wonder it missed!!!
