    Dont worry about using 38mm SS piping, just use 1.5" aluminized steel or whatever the shop has on hand, it will work fine.38mm and 1.5" is the same exact size. it was stupid, end of story i dont need everyones "wow your an idiot" thanks. :dsm:

    sounds like a bad turbo. replace what's broken. Do a leak down test, compression test, boost leak test, and all that. Then fix accordingly.exactly. troubleshooting is your friend my friend. you never go and fix something cause you assume its that on any car unless its not that expensive...

    I use an MSD DIS2 as well for a two step at 5500rpm and it works awesome. I use about 65% throttle while holding it then floor it just as I leave the line. Too much more than 1-2psi of boost and it spinns all the way though 1st which makes my 60ft times worse.you must be a clutch dumper...

    welp i cut out those 3 out of the sheetmetal and put them together. that and a little of the 700 F copper silicone on the flange side. sealed up perfect. took it for a beat run and was still sealed. as long as it doesnt burn out its all sealed. :thumb:

  38. Boost creep out of the blue

    a leak at the wastegate could most definetly cause boost creep. even a small crack in the wastegate will cause that. check to make sure that theres no cracks in the gate and the hose form the mbc to the gate. look it over really good :dsm:

    ditch the ac fan, along with your regular cooling fan and replace it with a slim line fan from slowboy only $70.00 for a 1260 cfm one i believe. thats what im getting as i run with just my regular fan now but that thing sucks ass :p

    alright i just ran into a problem, the gasket burnt out between my flange mounted on my manifold and the flange on the wastegate. the other gasket they sent me is the same one. i tried mating them up together with no gasket to see if it would stop it from leaking but no such luck. anyone know...
