ahh gotcha. Sounds like I will just be taking my water pipe and thermostat housing up to Lane automotive and just pay full price. Do they have banjo bolts with AN ends?
Thanks for the info, Im guessing that becuase you welded your bungs in that you dont know the threads on the thermostat housing and the water pipe? And yeah I was checking out that website but it didnt help much when I didnt know the threads :)

I have basically the exact same setup as the OP. My motor isnt in my car yet, but everything is together and ready to drop in. I went with Crower 280s on my head. I guess Ill let you know how it is when I get everything in the car

i just pulled my motor and tranny, i was looking at everything right before pulling it and i had the same problem. there was little to no room between the tranny and the subframe, so i think your fine :)

i have a rockford fosgate 1501db amp... i think i have 2 12inch audiobahn subs on the way..i cant find the specs on the amp but it is said to do 750watts x1 at 4ohms and 1500watts x1 at 2ohms.... can i run 2 12s off this amp?? or will that fry the amp? also willl those speakers work?? any...
i bought that same bumper when i did the conversion.. its an awesome bumper and fits great, only problem is it is plastic. i didnt mind... if you dont mind, buy it.. its cheaper than buying one off the classifieds
are you swapping it into a 2g?? the best combo is, 2g block, 1g head, 1g intake manifold, 2g exhaust manifold... but it would probably be easiest just taking the complete 1g motor out and using a 2g exhaust manifold... you do know that you will have to run dsmlink right?
try the power cord to the amp.....if you sit in the passanger seat its on the right side all the way at the front...mine came unplugged and I was clueless....

so it sounds like everything should work?i got one T ed with the bov and intake mani and the other to the wastegate.... but when i put a psi or whatever that i want it to hold at for either hi or lo, it boosts above 20 psi.. i even set them both at 0, still 20+ psi.... whats the problem

yeah its T-ed into the intake manifold, but on the control module, there are only two vacuum lines going into it, there is still one side empty, its just an empty hole, and what were you talkin about plastic peices? when i mounted mine i just have it ziptied to my braided radiator hose----sounds...
when i got mine, there were two long wires, one black and one red, i ran them all the way to the sidemarker lights and connected them with a T connector and the have worked good ever since, umm if that isnt specific enough, then let me know... ill help

i donno if its too later or whatever, but heres mine, its shaved and painted.... i just painted the spark plug part, all the bolt holes, and the timing belt side, i think it looks good. my friend shaved his and painted it black and blue... looks pretty good
