Usually when you get both an excessive code and an insufficient code it means that the egr valve needs to be replaced. The only other possibility would be maybe a plugged catalytic converter.
WHat he said. prep is everything, make sure you scuff up the entire car and wax and degrease it a few times to make sure that your fresh new paint will stick other than that measure everything propper mixture is key. Have fun and good luck
Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the blue top optimas are for marine use. However if I am wrong if it does not fit all you would have to do is relocate the battery to the trunk. :laser:
Don't go crazy and run out and buy an ecu. Although i hate to say this if you have to take your car to satan to find out what the problem is then do that it is better to pay the diagnostic fee then to go out and buy an ecu when you dont need one :laser:
Don't do it. Take some advice from the previous posts. Do all of the prep work yourself and spend a little more on the paint job. There is a reason maaco only charges 250 and if you have them paint your car you will know first hand why it is so cheap. :laser:
Sounds like clutch chatter to me. If it is not extremely bad (loud) I would not worry about it to much. In my experience every car that I have had has done it to a certain degree. :laser:
Most decent shops will be able to match your paint pretty well as long as you have the paint code for your car. It will be hard to tell that the spoiler has been repainted, body shops are pretty good with blending new and old paint together. :laser:
First off check to see that you have enough coolant in your system then head right to the radiator cap(thermostat) and replace that too. If that does not work then I would check the radiator fan and wiring to make sure that it is working. Good luck :laser:
I own a 2003 Tiburon and a 92 laser. I can tell you that my laser with 124,000 miles shifts a hell of a lot better than my tiburon that has 31,000 miles. Not to mention that the 1st gear in the tiburon is so short that in a turbo awd car would probably be useless.
Have fun. The front and rear bumpers should fit pretty well but the side skirts my be a little shaky. My buddy put the drift kit on his 90 tsi and just used pop rivets on the side skirts to hold them in place. He placed some rivets inside the door were the lip comes up and meets the doorsill...
Go to the store and pay the 30 dollars, instead of wasting your time downloading it. You are wasting time you will need to experience this awsome game.
I have a 92 laser rs. I found a radiator from a 90 talon tsi, my question is will the 90 radiator fit in my 92 or are they different? Any help would be great. :laser:
I first fell in love with dsm's when i got to know the guy down the street from me. He has a 91 tsi with 330whp. I first went for a ride and was like holy s**t. Later that week he let me drive the tsi and i ended up almost going to jail for wreckless driving haha. After i drove his car i...
If you take the tire off of the rim and measure from the lip down to the inner surface of the rime it should be really close to one inch. Therefore making your rims 17's. Like a couple people have said. If the tire said 17 inch then your rim has to be 17 there is no way to put an 17 inch tire...
If you are going to buy either of these cars do not bye the 300zx (you think your dsm was a money pit) just wait until you start replacing parts on the 300zx. The supra on the other had the only real problem you need to worry about is the main seal that the rotary engines have. They are known...
