For sale is a MHI 20g turbo, I picked up this up a long time ago and its been collecting dust. I was told it was rebuilt before I bought it. There is a very small crack in the turbine housing, typical for this one, I highly doubt it would effect anything. Wastegate flapper area looks good. Price...
I found one on rock autohttps://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/mitsubishi,1998,eclipse,2.0l+l4+turbocharged,1316583,transmission-automatic,torque+converter,8668
Double that. I worked for a major manufacturing concern in export. We could label our country of origin US by simply modifying Chinese bolts with a paint pen. None of this stuff is strictly enforced. A USMAC (NAFTA) audit is a joke most of us used as a reason to work from home for a week.
Just throwing this out there but your injbatteryadj dead times look low for those injectors. Something is wonky with your voltage for sure, you're only at 11.9 when its running. How is the cable from the fuse box to the battery? Mine was jacked up once and caused all sorts of issues.
I'm not entirely sure, but have you tried checking Fastenall? It's possible they might have what you're looking for. Also, I stumbled upon a similar header on Alibaba (check the link below), and it actually comes with the plug. It might be worth reaching out to the vendor you bought the header...
Seems like that's the port for the secondary air injection system found in early '95 models, but it got recalled eventually. Not sure about the thread size, but I'd say just throw a cap on it and call it a day.
The T3 drain flange (assuming from profile that’s what you had) is pretty darn close to the Mitsubishi CHRA bolt spacing but off just a bit, the bolt holes are just a bit larger, meaning the Garret would “bolt up” just fine to a Mitsubishi housing but have enough gap to leak. Hoping Justin will...
I use the same one as BTKai, but mounted it on the strut tower, it’s worked great for 2 years now. That’s why I blocked those ports off :) That “sight gauge” leaked from day one. Once sealed up properly it’s been a pretty decent little tank.
I used a shaft from a 94, that has the big splines and the right length for the 1g chassis. I think this is the one I ended up using. The shaft is a rebuilt OEM Mitsubishi, so I don't feel awful about the quality.
Extreme PSI ships worldwide, not sure how much you would end up spending on shipping + import duties, but they have a good deal on MHI Evo3 turboshttps://www.extremepsi.com/store/Genuine-MHI-Mitsubishi-TD05H-EVO-III-Big-16G-49178-01470-SALE.html
Just throwing this out there, e85 drastically lowered my egt’s especially at idle, thus lowered my under hood temps. My IAT and coolant temps were always pretty decent as I have a good FMIC and good condition cooling system. But, when I switched to e85 my egt gauge is considerably lower than on...
I was actually working on tuning this yesterday, what a difference it makes when dialed in, car seems a lot smoother! Jafro's video here at around 46:15 explains it well. I found getting the delta value to change from 0 required pretty decent mashes of the throttle.
I'll finally get around to installing my Gt30 setup within the next month or so, if you don't mind me asking if you run an oil feed filter? I have a nice feed line Justin provided with the turbo, but I'm still planning on running a filter.
just going to throw this out there…EV’s are sort of slow from a roll!!Enjoy your dsm for what is it, when you get to take it out on a nice Sunday morning, or summer twilight evening.. through your favorite road and listen to the turbo sing.An appliance car might be nice to drive to work...
Yes, it uses a Greddy flange, you can get an adapter for a skyline that will work the 1g BOV flange ( they use the same BOV as a 1g), I'm using this as my Greddy leaked, and wanted to go back to the stock, it works great.

Hopefully someone from here wins this. DMS’s don’t sell for crap on bring a trailer; looks like an amazing car.https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1992-plymouth-laser-2/
I used the ebay tank below I mounted It toward the passenger strut tower using existing mounting points. The “sight gauge” was leaking ,so I plugged those ports. I also re ran the inlet and outlet to a similar setup to your picture, it also came with very soft o rings on all the fittings which...
I remember running around this bush years ago when I had a 420a talon, the timing is more than likely 180 out..it's really easy to mess these bastards up, nothing like timing a toyota, ford, volvo, or anything else that makes sense to us ...
IMO this isnt going to do too much I thought TB spacers were only good on TBI cars like old trucks; I think it swirled the air/fuel or something? I dono
hey buddy welcome to the world of the 420a, well i have a full exhaust setup (header, racing cat, cat back) I actually thought i was making some HP, well a while back a decied to get the intake side of the head done too, well WOW, first of all the sound is amazing, second the power, All I have...
as mentioned above the brass shift linkage bushing solution is the way to go, as well as throwing on the stiff bushings this makes the shifter feel much more stiff compaired to before, ten year old rubber tends to ware out.
I race wih the PCA, im down in Peora, its a little less well formal then the SCCA but its fun, we usual are limited to 40 cars so we get a lot of runs, and there are a lot of spectators, and really nice cars
saw off the flange that you dont want and weld a new one on, muffler shop can do all of this, hook you up with a new flange, gasket, and weld the flang to the pipe
## doesnt make a pulley kit for the 420a; they only make the crank pulley, which is a nice piece. Howellautomotive.com offers are cheaper solution to the pulley dilemma, the AFX UDP, which is basically the same as the ## unit. When you change your pulley make sure to remember the AC and PS...
hey man, my horn was crappy too haha, you need to do the mod, take apart your steering wheel and clean off the pad the horn button touches with cnr electrial cleaner, you can also bend that metal bracked for a little more feel, just make your you dont lose the springs
magna-flo makes a geat unit, it was my fist mod, we there it on the dyno with a tune up (oil, pulgs..ect) and got 147 crank hp, which is nice, i think it was 119 wheels
I did, but im NA; when i installed my header the same thing happened, so I went down to like autozone and had them scan it, sure enought it was the front O2 sensor
