This IMHO is the best fitting car seat (forward facing) that will fit into a DSM. Not a big fan of using the seatbelt to hold it in but I am alive after using the seatbelt on my car seat. Fits nice and snug in rear seat. Safety 1st. Got the at Babies R Us.. Good ratings and affordable....
What month does everyone switch from 10w30 to 5w30 ? I know changing to the thinner oil is best for colder months, but being in nh it might not get really cold till december. Looking for opinions on when I should switch. I am going to do n oil change tommrow, not sure if I should go with...

I have four Goodyear 215-55-r17. 3 tires are nearly new, and the third has about 80% life left. I had these on a customers car (Toyota Avalon) and the customer complained about a humming noise. Turns out the tires have very very very slight feathering on the outside edges. Nothing that can't be...
Unfortunately that does happen on occasion. The selling dealer might have been mis-led by the dealer in which they where getting the vehicle from. Not a real bad mix up and certainly not a deal breaker. Dont make a big deal about it. No big deal, just a few pieces of paper to sign and be on...
You had to do what you had to do. I sold my 99 GSX and picked up a 96 ls... Money is tight for everyone, and sometimes that means disposing of things you love! On the bright side, when the financial situation gets better, find another one. Either it be a year, or 5 years....
I don't have picks. To me, it looks like it was above the frame and suspension. Probably the whole drivers side. The accident happened when it had 20k on it, so I am thinking it happened when the car was about 2 years old. At that age it was probably in the 20's for a price, so the damage...
I had the STI out today for a couple of test drives. Things runs great, and drives straight. It is a salvage, but the accident happened at 20,000 miles. Not sure the extent of the damage, but there is no renominates of frame damage (if there was, then they did a great job repairing it). Air...
I was thinking the acura to, but this STI is really nice, tein adjustable suspension, intake BOV, cool rims and is fast as hell. But if it broke i wouldn't have the money to fix it!
I recently sold my 99 GSX because of hardship. I have been in the market for either a 93-97 corolla, and or an older integra. I chose those two because of reliability and shear cost. I was looking into the yearly cost for one of these cars and it isn't much given parts are a dime a dozen...
I am in New Hampshire and I am looking to buy a car that is down that way. Any one in that area willing to help a fellow dsm'er out and take a look at it and tell me if it is a good car? It is at a dealer. Please, any help would be appreciated! Thanks
Timmy
It was a clean car to begin with, but with a wash n wax it looks fanfabulous! Looks better in person....:pThanks Buddy! To all the others, thanks for the props!
There might not be any open for your car. If I am not mistaken there is a couple threads on here pertaining to Mitsubishi's recalls expiring after so many years. Just check the ball joints (with that kind of mileage they might need replacing anyway).
That is a good speed to hit a curb. I would also check your tie rods and lower A-arm to make sure it didn't bend and throw the alignment off. I would also junk that tire. Sidewalls are thick for a reason, any piece of rubber missing and or flapping isn't good. Eventually a bubble will form...
Just stating the obvious, but don't drive it until you have checked it over and found what was broken. With the steering jerking like it is, I would say it is most likely the steering rack.
Title is a good thing, although they do become lost. Do a CARFAX on it, if it is stolen it will be on there. Here in NH, 1995 and older do not need titles to register, only a bill of sale and a previous registration.
Although a GS-T or a GSX is nice, get what you can afford. If at this point you can only afford what is in your area for a GS, then go with it. For myself, a GS would have been fine because I don't really boost all that often. I don't get on it or anything so having a non-turbo wouldn't hurt...
