I am having the same problem with my b16g. I just put fic 650's in and I am leaned out at -32% across the board almost at high trims. And lows are at -22%. And at about 5500rpm at part throttle not WOT just half throttle roughly it starts sputtering. Should I lean out my low trims more u think?

see I'm not going to mod that much either. But I am so confused on this mod. It makes you run leaner therefore leaner = increased timing, so all I have now is safc and egt, and a/f light gauge which doesn't do anything but can I just retard my base timing or does it only increase timing under...

I was curious I am noticing that when I get on it at about 2k once I am at full boost my o2 volts become richer as rpm goes up is that normal?? :confused:

well I took out the two side screens in the mas and I run lean at wot from 4k to about 5k or so then it comes to normal but the higher the rpm the richer it gets could this be I need to hotwire the pump or should I just throw the screens back in and run pig rich? until I can afford an afc...

Here is what I have... a b16g and a 3"cat back exhaust, and boost controller. The boost controller is fine. I pluged in my boost source straight to the wastegate and I hit 11psi then by 5k I am at 18-20psi. I fixed an exhaust leak. The only other thing is that it has been really cold out and...

I am currently running a b16g and just a cat back exhaust and when it is cold I am hitting fuel cut like crazy. The boost starts out at 15psi then by 6k it is at 19psi. Could this be exhaust leak which I have really bad coming off the turbo or like my homemade bc.?

Holy crap! That fixed my bogging problem! I have replaced almost everything on the engine to fix that bogging problem. The problem was it was a schucks pcv valve and it leaked horribly and it was only like 6 months old. If any of you are having a bogging problem and it only happens sometimes...

Well I pulled my pcv off and it leaked pretty bad. So could that cause a boost leak, therfore causing a bogging??? I am going to go get an oem pcv I will keep you all updated. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

it is a manual and I am running the bov back into the intake. When you do a boost leak test is it normal for some of the pressure to come out of the valve cover breather hose?

ok here is the problem. I have kinda stock 97 except 3"cat back. When I come on the the boost at lower rpm not romping on it but easing into the throttle I feel at about 2psi or so the car start to bog and if I continue flooring it the car just bogs unless I tap the gas, then the car moves...

yes the cas stopped all of my problems. However there is still oil in the housing but after I replaced the sensor I have driven 1k miles so far and I am fine car runs great. :thumb:
