My ssqv recirculated doesn't make much sound. But my friends tell me that they do hear it from the outside at higher rpms.Anyways, about the sound thingy, it's all personal preference. I like the high pitched ssqv sound so that's why I went with it.
Well the whole idea of tt is so that it decreases spool time so it's better for anything other than draggin.But since money isn't a problem to you, why not just use antilag and throw away a turbo everytime it blows? ;) my .02But then again I would love to see this work out! So go ahead!
Hmm cheap eBay bov knockoffs might leak. My friend's ebay ssqv leaked. But still depends on how much you wanna boost. But since you're on a budget, I would still think a 1g bov. A crushed 1g bov should do the job. Will hold 20ish psi of boost. If not, do it right (get the real thing).eBay...
Well all I can say is that they don't hold as well as those genuine hks ssqvs. My friend who bought one for his Wrx had leaks so at the end he ended up changing it. So... from my pov just do it right the first time and don't regret later.
yup agreed. I bought my 95 gsx last October for $5.4k. Totally stock, working+too cold AC, turbotimed(tho it was taken off), 95k miles, good compression. Engine bay, interior and paint was flawless but only the passenger's mirror's paint was kinda off thx to the heat - didn't really matter. Oh...

i pop the cover beside the cup holder and put my tt there. yes there's a hole there now but i think it's better than putting my tt behind the steering "arc". there's should be hole right at the bottom big enough for your wires and stuff. if you need a pic let me know!

Yes they come gapped from the factory but you should always check and regap if necessary. my bpr6es came gapped like 0.06 :confused:oh to gap them u can just use a needle nose plier. just don't touch the center electrode if they're iridiums.
yep it should be at 20vac at idle with the exceptions of +- 2. when my ac is on it sometimes drops to around 16~17oh when my engine is shut off it's still at 0. and yeah i heard autometers tend to drift off on their boost/vac gauges. and sometimes on their oil pressure too
