My friend is thinking of buying one for his 92 TSI. He plans on putting an evo3 16g on it. Do you think that will be sufficent enough for it? If so how much power do you think you can run through it before it reaches its limit.

CorvetteBoy i have the exact same problem as you did. I get knock while barly on it then if i punch it, it stays but if i let off real fast and get back on it, 90% of the time it goes away. What kind of lifters did you get? Stock or 3g? Also how was the install on those?

Well your right and wrong on this one. They are slower then a ls1 stock and they do have an iron block but that doesn't mean boost or nitrous isn't a problem. They can run about 6lbs on stock internals and no more then a 150 shot on stock internals but that doesn't mean it will last long...

My best time i believe with my Galant VR4 was 9.88X. My best prior to that was a bunch of 10.03x's but finnaly i broke the 9's. I had to tweak the suspension and a few other things a bit more but i did it.

In the game i think the STI is a better car imo. In real life. Imo the EVO is better though.

Well i think it just depends on how fast the engine is turning at the time the timing belt breaks. But for me it was a little different because it didn't snap. It just got all chewed up around the sides. And i was going very slow when the car died.

Well that didn't work but i got my problem fixed. I took it to a exuast shop and they rewelded the 2 hangers where my cat was. They just welded them a little shorter and now it is perfect. It only cost me $35. Now i like my car again. Well untill another problem arises.

Sorry I don't understand you candela. But it is also hitting the hanger bracket on my car. So basically if i even remove the heatshield it will still hit the hanger bracket. And if i remove that then it will hit the bottom of my car.
