Maybe that is another reason my car runs weird, Is the fuel pressure. On wot it acts like it is a bucking horse. It seems like the wastegate just doesn't have enough pressure to keep it open.

OK, I am still sorta a newbie at this. I have a 2g with a 6 bolt motor swap. My question is what is the base fuel pressure supposed to be? Am I supposed to set it for the 1g or the 2g?

I was told that there are certain engine parts off a 2g motor that can be used as upgrades for a 1g motor. Is this true and what parts to be exact if anyone knows?

When I tuned at the track last weekend I had to richen it up a lot, up to 40% on the FTH. And if I am getting no signal how the hell is this thing running, and I shouldn't have to richen it up on all low/high...

I get a CEL every once in awhile for injector circuit code 41. Don't know why that is either. It will pop up and then go away. I have checked all the injector connections and they are good.

Sorry, I was talking about when you have the logger conected to the ecu. On the screen that lets you start a new log. Tap on the word mmcd in the top left corner and run a test. :talon:

Man I have tried to repair the wire and the same thing evertime ECU comm error. I asked the guy I bought the logger from about a new cable. And he says he would hate for me to have to buy just a new cable. So I have tried to make my own and I have had no success. I get the same error code...
I think I'm going to need a new ECU. It keeps telling me there is a ECU comm error. Which I do believe means it can't communicate with the ECU. So I think I toasted part of my ECU. I even tried disconnecting the battery to reset and that didn't work. So now I'm really lost.

I did figure out that I can't get 100% out of my TPS. It will only go to 99.6% at WOT. I did readjust the TPS so it idles at 10.1%. That's the best I could get out of it.
Yes if your air filter is down by the fog light opening it will get wet. And with a wet air filter all your doing is sucking in water. Until you suck all the water out of it, it's not going to run right. Either move the filter or make a cover for it when you go through the car wash. :thumb: :talon:
I am not running the mbc. I still have the stock boost controler on. I wasn't going to change it until I get the car running right first.

I got the fuel pump, it's a walbro 255. And I got it for a good price. Now all I need is the 550 injectors and fpr. Then it's all install time. I have to give a big thanks to the guys up in New Jersey, New York area for there help. :D :talon:
I think I am going to go ahead with the 255, and get a FPR. That way I don't have to upgrade later down the road if I want to do more mods. Try to save money in the long run, and prepare for bigger and better. :talon:
