I run link as well. The car would cold start just fine but if it ran more then 10 minutes or so the car wouldnt start hot. It would have to cool before it would fire again. They took ALOT and I mean ALOT of deadtime to get to run correctly. But still had the hot start. I tried it with both 93...
Change out the brakes... A FWD is going to struggle getting any sort of traction with out some sidewall. Most of the big brake kits will fit certain 16's. Just might take some research. the 16" will perform better and open up selection of tires. But a 15" would be better yet with a largest...
You may need a driver to run these. Not all cars are the same. Some work some don't. I ran the 1450's and had nothing BUT issues with them. I made the switch over to the high Z and haven't looked back. The high Z's are a much better injector as well worth every penny.
Everything looks pretty good. What's the motor consist of?You may want to ditch the Pacesetter junk for the turbo manifold as they are known for cracking...
I'll be in as well for Scallopped rotors for a 2g front setup soon. Motor work is first on the list though... This sounds promising!!!I'm already assuming these will clear 15" wheels???
The GTR is the future for his business of course he is going to focus on that. But I did here his talon was at the track making some tests passes a week or so ago... Looking mean too.
I'm running Wiseco HD's this year and can tell you while at the machine the pistons had to be line honed for the pins as they were out of spec right from the get go...They are in the block and seem to be doing just fine currently but I still have yet to turn up the wick.
Is this a USDM trans? Or a "JDM" one??? Judging by the convertor size it looks to be a JDM Trans and that is completely different then the USDM trans. The bellhousing, Convertor, plate, starter, Intermediate shaft are all completely different then the USDM versions and the kiggly plate will NOT...
I'll be sorted out a couple issues the rest of this week and I'll get her all cleaned up and get you something a little better maybe with the turbo spinning or something... It's hard as the iPhone cuts out hear and there from the rumble...
I have no reason to run coolant thru the gates as the gates aren't restrcited to flow. My Shearer is flanged for the MVS gates and they ONLY come watercooled unless you get some of the earlier ones. I waited 6 weeks to get these, as the purples were sold out everywhere!!!The car is going...
Well I have been slacking a little as last week we were down in Florida for vacation but this week and next the plan is to just about finish the car. My tial wastegates FINALLY came in. The new tial gates come watercooled, I believe I'm one of the first to get them. But I won't be utilizing this...
The car will be starting the year on a 2g intake manifold. I dont see it as a choke point just yet. I see it as a helper actually for what I'm looking to do. We'll see soon enough if my theroy is going to pan out... I dont see it holding the car back from going 9's though.
