It looks like from the picture there's some silver shavings in their too. Bearings will be copper only so anything else is from surrounding metal. Run you fingernail over the crank when you get a chance. If theres one or two little scratches its still usable but if it seems bad then it...
In my opinion the storm is garbage. I'd rather have a phone that does what I want it to when I occasionally have service than to have a phone that never does what I want it to and has service all the time....I don't want to have to select something then have to touch it again to go to it...
In my opinion the price that you can pick up some TSi's and GSX's now, it may be worth it to just buy the car outright. With all the involved labor, and parts searching, then hoping it's as reliable it may be worth it to try to find one.
I've seen mint 1G's around here for less than $1000 at...
Which is why we made over 900whp on a set of BC's.
Unless you're that set on wanting that extra (HKS, Kelford, etc) epeen to impress the aforementioned in your profile then buy BC's. They make power, I know, I didn't read about them.
I got the kit around Christmas because they were a decent deal. I'd recommend the camera if you havn't owned a digital SLR before. The quality is pretty good and the fact that you get the two lenses is a pretty good deal. I'd say it's your best shot if you've already narrowed it down to that...
...C16 isn't pump gas, regardless it's still being argued the 16G numbers are incorrect not the fuel. The posted 10.5 pass wasn't on C16, however I'm not sure about the 10.33, but I believe that it wasn't on C16 but Joe can correct me if I'm wrong there. There's a youtube video posted by...
Actually your physics formulas won't work for the aforementioned 1g. The car was pretty much complete if you looked at it inside and out as well as the engine bay it looks for the most part no different than a stock car. Thats the most astonishing part. Thanks for the legwork too Joe, I...
Shep just isn't competition and won't ever be considered that, as Nate stated he's a really good friend of his and Andrews. Our only real competition is ourselves, if we can bring all the tools, make a clean pass, not've broken anything, and then make a pass faster than that next time. :)
:tease:
;)btw is it sad I'm communicating with you in hopes you read this, which I know you will...Come down here this weekend I'll be here since I have no life and shitloads to do!!!p.s. WTB 80% more of a 42R! :rocks:
If you guys would pay close attention, at the 60' mark shep mysteriously jumps to half track or so. I'm guessing it's because the 2.0X10^14 HP at the crank (6.0X10^50 at the wheels) that he makes it adversely affects the flux capacitor which reaches 88mph so fast that the car literally...
OH SNAP SON...YOU'VE JUST BEEN OWNED!! :beatentodeath:Come back with something good, because from my point of view your foots already in your mouth. :)P.S. There were no dyno tricks...it has a fan on the front mount, which is done anywhere and that's about it. It was done in awd trim...
This sir have quite possibly the best explanation on this thread. You havn't really taken sides and you've provide facts for both arguments. You're an open minded individual.
For that I <3 You.P.S. If you have facebook...be my facebook friend...that's how much I like your post. :)
beatentodeath::spam::nono::barf::barf::barf::laser::rocks::thumb::confused:OMGROFLLOLLOL:sosad:;););)WTFWTF:boring:Nates on vacation ass hole...TPG is a bunch of friends who help out to make a fast car, so yea it's a big plug. I havn't talked to him or anyone else in the past few days...
How is this still being argured and poured over from like 3 threads ago...Everyones case is basically being presented like a record is impossible to be broken or that odd things don't fall in your favor or that some people may just dedicate so much more time, money, and headaches into...
1. I don't understand your hyphenated words.
2. I only have the videos as i'm in morgantown and Nate's in Pa or wherever at the moment.
3. Are you trying to be an asshole right now?Why the hell are you so interested in a log anyways...it won't prove anything, i havn't talked to Nate...
1. I don't believe everything I hear...I was there when it happened.
2. Reality is what happens, not what you think can or is supposed to happen.
2. Nate's not my god but he is one of my BFF's. :p
3. I wasn't questioning your credentials and if I did it's because you considered us to have...
You sir are quite possibly the most ignorant person I've ever heard open their mouth. Have you accomplished the things that TPG has, if it weren't for Nate these "out of the ordinary" things wouldn't have happened. Just because you havn't been able to tune cars the way he can it doesn't make...
Yea this probably is the best sum up that someone could have said. I'm quite surprised that someone actually agreed or at least didn't jump on the "no you didn't" bandwagon. But really, good job.^^The above adds to the knowledge and take away the "it's impossible" attitude...I bet no...
The suspension for sure will get to where we need it. It still has street struts and springs which are incredibly too soft. Theres also a decent amount of weight left to be taken off, once we get that done it's game over.
Yeah that was my first impression too, I wish I got the whole talk he did after I ended the video that's posted on YouTube because they said alot more nice words. Maybe we can actually get a decent track prep now when we show up...
I'd say go for DSMLink it's perfectly suitable for daily driving or a track car. The AEM I wouldn't say is "generic" because it far surpasses DSMLink in everyway, but for the cost and for how well DSMLink works without having to redo your wiring I'd vote for it. If you have the money and know...
We got the car running at PRP tonight after a few electrical headaches and it seemed to pay off. The car ran 10.11 at 135.54 with still no traction in first gear and still on pump gas (Sheetz 93). I'll get pics/videos and more info up soon.
Lol my bad...
The girly may come for Beaver Springs (*Cou 9's gh*) this weekend if thats cool, I'll just drive to Motown and drive down with you.:thumb:
As well as the other posts, pretty much every college kid. That's correct ThinkPads are awesome buisness laptops, however they are very expensive when you try to get the best specs.
Alienware's have a ton of upgrade paths but when purchasing I found that I could get a better laptop for less...
I definitely agree with those :thumb:I must say that PEPSI needs a new marketing person. It also seemed like there was an aweful lot of movie commercials for the superbowl?I do agree that this was the most sentimental out of all the commercials.
In my opinion the weight doesn't really seem to matter after a while. When I first ordered mine it was for school and I wanted something along the lines that you're requesting. After thinking about it though and finding a good coupon from dell I got an XPS which weighs in at a beefy 8lbs or...
Exactly, a good tune is definitely whats going to make the difference. Make sure you factor about $250 or so for dyno tuning if you want to get the best possible numbers out of it.
As stated previously the only thing that it looks like you'd really need to obtain your goal is a FPR to go along with that 255 pump of yours.DSM link would make it a dream to tune but you can definitely get by with the SAFC until you'd want to upgrade for whatever reason...more options...
Awwwwe...how cute...the "Whatever Eyes" :toobad:Well coming from someone who defnitely has has 400hp and...wait...wait, no I guess coming from someone with : "K&N Filter. Apexi TT. I also have these but havent installed yet: Dejon MBC, Cobalt Boost Gauge, 190 Walbro FP, Catless RnR...
I have an SBR intercooler and I've never had a problem with overheating unless my coolant is gone or I throw the waterpump belt.I'd say to top off the coolant before you drive it,
Check for any plastic that isn't necessary (I just have my bumper...then the intercooler).F.Y.I. : I...
Hmmm....lets see what would make it overkill, well since we can't seem to understand why this is being tossed around lets look at the mere facts...Lets start with a definition:
Overkill - Any effort that seems to go farther than would be necessary to achieve its goal. So, now that you...
I got the kit to run Blow-Thru, needless to say there probably were less expensive ways of going about it, but that would mean I'd have + net worth...and I just can't have that.
Even though the shiny pipes did give me between 25-30hp...;)
With my mods I was surprised, I passed with flying colors. I can't remeber the exact numbers...I think they're in another post floating around here somewhere but my car barely even registered on the meter.
That's no cat...and all the other goodies. :shhh:
I'd highly recommend SBR. There's an array of different longblocks you can choose from them, and the fact that money is not a factor; you can definitely hook yourself up with a very nice setup. http://...
I stand behind optima and the yellow top. I picked mine up at Advanced Auto for around $160.00. It's pretty expensive, but they're definitely worth it in the long run if you plan on putting additional strain on the electrical system.
Deep cycle batteries: Can withstand repeated deep cycles (cycling the battery to as low as 10.5 volts) without premature failure. Deep cycle batteries are recommended for applications such as trolling motors, car audio, winches, bow thrusters, etc.Optima D31M Blue Top, D31A Yellow Top and...
