Its still a 16g...Sure plenty on Evo 9's run fast on the stock turbo, but it isn't only because of the turbo. They have 10 years of engineering improvements that we don't have such as, a better Intake Manifold, Head, and MIVEC to name a few.Slap an Evo 3 16g on an Evo 9 and it would...
Congratulations on finally achieving your goal Phil, your an asset to the community.I'm actually surprised that your "only" running 21psi and the fact that its holding it to redline shows there still more in it.
Actually the stock MAF is 4" and the FP 4" Intake is "oval" shaped so it matches the MAF perfectly. But if you don't believe me... Forced Performance Turbochargers: FP DSM Aluminum Intake pipe
This is a common problem where people think there out of injector but its actually the pump. Through a KB Boost a Pump on there and that single walbro will handle alot.
IIRC I went 112mph on a 50 trim and stock cams/IM back in the day, I think it was with 20psi.Addition of Cams and SMIM netted me 11.8 at 121 on 24psi, on 650's BTW.
Your airflow is being over estimated as seen by the 3bar vs. boostest. Since you have no knock I would turn up the boost some more. Also I would hold the 2-3 and 3-4 shift until 7k.
You need to set fuel pressure with the vacuum line off, once you put the vacuum line back on the pressure will drop, this is normal. Also fuel cut has nothing at all to do with fuel flow, only airflow.
A Simple change in pads should drastically improve braking on the Genesis since the pads come "neutered" from the Factory...Left is Genesis Right is Evo 10
