Thank you VERY much guys. Here are a few videos I made of what it's doing. It looks like timing to me I'm just reaching the limits of what I can do in an apt garage haha. I hope it's not bent valves or bad compression I was told the car was running fine and just needed a battery when I bought...
I have Sunday/Mon off and want to try to fix the daily. I know there is a lot of gearheads in here so maybe I can get some help. I can't figure this one out.. Previous owner told me it was starting and then got harder and harder to start and now it doesn't start.Car is a 98 Nissan Pathfinder...
yup, Its illegal to have any modification done to your exhaust system in the state of FL and also they can stop you for w/e they want pretty much..316.2935 (5)(b) No person shall operate a motor vehicle upon the highways of the state with an exhaust system or noise-abatement device so...
Some of you have nice quality knobs on there, but please clean those interiors up. At least for the picture forget the knobs some cleaning would be a much more noticeable improvement.
Thanks, from lip to lip as you can see they are about 10". Fitment is better than I expected. I went with the thin tire 225 to experiment with fitment, but it could most likely fit a 235 as well as a 245-255 on a 35 series tire. I have a picture of the gap at the knuckle which I will post as...
Back to pictures maybe? I'll post more pictures as I find them I have a very unorganized external drive right now. Here were my Rota Boost 18x9 +30 with 225/40/18
Random site I found while searching for a helmet. Maybe it will make more sense to you guys.OverMachoGrande.com - Build your own / Do-it-yourself Laser Brush/Comb/Helmet for Hair Loss!
I would check your clutch pedal adjustment, your slave and master cylinder for function. And with the car off I would shift, press/depress clutch while listening for any noises or loose parts in the tranny area. By looking at the bottom of the car can you tell where the sparks are coming from...
Good luck on this project I am looking forward to it. Just ignore the negative comments. I am looking to trade my 4runner in this spring for a 350z that will at some point get transplate with a 2J as well. I'm wondering why not go all out and do the 6 spd getrag? Take into consideration I...
A few things I would do. Switch the bulb with a new one and see if that alleviates the problem. If not check the wiring behind it. Then use a multimeter and check the voltage that it's receiving. It sounds like common sense , but maybe the outer lens is fogged up more than the other? Good luck.
I've used studs on my housing and it worked just fine. In fact I liked it a bit more because I could tighten it down more than with the bolts. I used a stud off of a BMW for temporary use, but I ended up leaving it on there it worked great. Just make sure you can access it depending on your...
If I understood you right it says you are using double prong spark plugs? If so you should not be and that could be your problem. Also what is your wideband reading with the car off when cold? Any black smoke coming out of the car? How do the spark plugs look?
I haven't been on the forums as much as I used to so the little I can contribute is feedback. I'm a college student and I know how hard it is to save up for these things so I hope these reviews aid you guys into buying from the right vendors. I've spent thousands of dollars since owning my DSM...
I remember doing that and my hand was pretty messed up also. I don't really see a way around it. Just remove everything from the top or move it to the side and go at it. I used a craftsman 4 in 1 and that was a little better than a regular ratchet and socket.
I'm no homebrewer, but interesting read and 1 up for diversity to these forums. Is it significantly better than an off the shelf beer or do you need to know what your doing to tell the difference?
Are you sure it's fuel cut? Have you ruled out the ignition? Checked fuel pressure? Any way of logging I am not familiar with "tuner pro". If you have logs post them up.
There is a fuse in the engine bay that is also connected to the cigarette lighter and radio from what I remember. It is the one in the yellow casing with 2 fuses in it.
I was in your same boat a while back. Had the setup, needed the car, but had no fuel or tuning. I couldn't manage to run 14psi without breaking up . I had to basically drive n/a status until I got the rest of the parts. It isn't fun, but you can do it just don't do anything ignorant I even saved...
I get full boost 23psi at 4400=4500 on a good day on the tired 7 bolt. Definitely streetable, then again everyone has different standards. In my case it helps with wheel spin which is a plus. As far as the bench racing question I can see it putting down an easy 350 on 91 and 400 with a good...
I wouldn't recommend getting the electrical boost gauge if anything the manual. I had issues with my electric boost gauge now I have the manual and the needle is slowly becoming inaccurate. Very flimsy the needle just shakes around .
If your going to install such a degrading part on a car I would install it on yours. Not on your girl friends so that she can possibly get in an accident for not being able to see in front of her. Show her how much you "love" her by doing a real retrofit. There are enough ricer civics with blue...
Good point I would take Evo VIII ,IX wheels even Rx7 wheels over those in a heartbeat. A lot of times they are sold with decent tires already so you'd be set.
I don't really like the black with the chrome lip, but the silver ones are nice. That's an ok price I would shop around some more and maybe try to get at least some kumho's.
I saw the 245's I got a little sad inside I was like that's it. Then I see the 285 that's more like it holy Shut. Nice I'm glad your taking the dsm game to another level.
