So it was bright orange when you bought it and you didn't like it... so you decided to repaint it, but stuck with orange? Did I miss something? Why not paint it black? I'm not flaming you, but your thread title is asking what we think, and I think it looks horrible.
i have a feeling those are going to be too dim. i've never seen this particular bulb (1157?) in LED form, but I've seen a similar LED bulb in sidemarkers and it's way too dim.
Here is the technique to do the "key dance":
http://www.2gnt.com/nuke/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=8The info you get from the key dance is vague. Easier to go to autozone and borrow the OBD-II scanner for a minute.
Taboo used to sell an "unbreakable" clutch fork, but I think they went out a business a couple years ago. I bought one after my 2600 snapped the stock fork like a twig. The biggest complaint about the 2600 is pedal pressure. it's not a big deal. After a week you don't even notice it.
i'm proud of my talon but the factory spoiler is :barf:
turbo spoiler on my talon
maybe it doesn't look as good as it does on a 2gb eclipse but its a helluvalot better than wingless imo, or the thumbnail
97-99 headlights like the ones you linked will work without swapping your bumper, but they angle sharply towards the middle, so you'll have an ugly gap between the headlights and the "nose" of your bumper. There's pics somewhere.
That's paper gasket material and won't work for exhaust flanges. To the OP just bring in your old gaskets to pep boys or whatever, and they should be able to match em up for you... even at a 3" size. that's what I used to do for people when I worked there. Even if the bolt holes don't line up...
bought my NT @ 130K, at 144K now... no major problems except the lower ball joint snapping (dealer supposed to do the recall and didn't).I'm surprised at how well it runs for 140K... great compression and tranny shifts perfect. I would not be surprised if the previous owner had done a...
I'm pretty sure those Rota Circuit 10's (Mugen MF-10 knockoffs). I gotta say they're pretty ugly... at least on a DSM.EDIT: they might also be Rota GT3's (also knockoffs, also ugly). that's the one in the 2nd pic.
no, 420A was in the 2G NTs (minus the Spyder GS).Man, what's 3x worse than a riced 2G (given all the mods the original poster listed) is a riced 1G. This thing is gonna be ... I hope you're still not spending $30 for a "chrome racing cigarette lighter."
reliability = 2GNT (in part because the car is just newer)
speed = 1G turbomy 1G was a maintainance nightmare... every week some kind of part went bad. I barely got to drive it. I absolutely do not regret going the 2GNT route and would avoid 1G's of any kind... though I'd still get a 2G turbo...
LOL @ that "girls" picture section. Those girls aren't even models... they look ordinary, and most of them are with their boyfriends. I guess the cameraman never saw girls before? When you think about some dude snapping candid pictures of random ordinary girls, it's kinda creepy.
Good advice I think from the posts so far. I just don't understand the idea behind getting the NT to save money (you noted using 87 octane etc), yet you're willing to spend $140 on "chrome racing fire extinguishers" and a $15 "chrome racing cigarette lighter".
reminds me with my chrysler experience:
(got the car back after bringing it in for the ball-joint recall)
Chrysler guy: you should replace your belts and hoses... they're pretty worn. We can do that for $130.
Me: but did you check the ball joints?
Chrysler guy: oh yeah, they're fine
Me: but what...
agreed also about painting the 2nd one.
also... i think your bumper was cracked in the middle? the 2nd lip would help to cover and reinforce that area since it lays inside the bumper.
Like ramenpride said its right on the dang spark plug box (no guessing what is "snug", no torque specs even needed) so why is this discussion even happening
hand tight + 1/2 to 2/3 turn
