Evo intercoolers are good for a 16g turbo pushing efficient boost. 20psi out of that type of turbo? Yea. 30psi? No way. They are matched from the factory to flow with that turbo in mind; 550/560 'ish cfm's. Put on a bigger turbo that flows more and the Evo intercooler becomes a choke...

Try pin 76 2G Turbo ECU Pinouts ... but it will trip a CEL. That's the way I did it on my Evo (rear O2 sensor). I cut the wire at the harness and attached some spade connectors. When it's time to tune and log, connect the wideband feed. It trips the CEL, I finish logging, I clear it...

You monitor the fuel trims for idle and part throttle cruising. The O2 voltage is used for WOT tuning, but it's not precise and only gets you in the ballpark of rich and lean. A wideband should really be used.

Having the honeycombs out makes a big difference in AFC settings, which is why RRE's is so different. Have you modded your MAF/removed your honeycombs?
