What numbers did you have to mess with? I already have a AEM UEGO wideband and I'll be converting to SD with ECMlink in the next few months. I was thinking about buying a different wideband and trying to sell the AEM, but if the AEM will log properly in link all the better. Did you just use the...

    16g oil return question

-6an is way to small for a oil drain. I have a -10an drain line for my 16g. Check for shaft play on the turbo, and try to find any oil leaks.

    Other Wing for a 1G

I would like to have a duckbill truck spoiler like this. Molded or not I like the look. The 1g spoilers just make the rear square and flat, and something like this would add some life to it.

BOV Type RS Breaths on Idol

A blow off valve doesn't suck in air. Your blow off valve releases the pressure in the intake tract that is caused by boost. Your friend doesn't know what he's talking about.

Post pics of your Wrapped FP Manifold here!

It looks like you wrapped over two of your bolt holes to connect the manifold to the turbo. What is your plan for that?

    Wastegate pressure at E16g big.

The real MHI evo III 16g doesn't have an adjustable wastegate arm, and it hold 6-7 psi. Which means you have a knockoff. Have you tried to adjust the arm so it's not so tight?

16G compressor outlet boost source fitting?

Yep not a boost source unless you drill out, which may be a challege without messing the threads up. I think you would have better luck adding the boost source to your j pipe. Just drill and tap and then buy a fitting that matches the taps threads.http://www.summitracing.com Has tons of...

The quest for the AWD 14b record title WITHOUT nitrous continues

Phil have you ever thought about picking up one of Paul's chromoly bars that run across the front of the car? WTB: 1G Canadian manual seat belts

I have swapped my car over to manuel seat belts. You will have to have the Canadian B pillars. Your stock pillars won't work even if they are cut. Spark Plug Rounded Off In Motor

I would find a socket that is close to fitting but just a bit to small (of course this is going to have to be a deep socket). Attach an extension to the socket then with a hammer pound the socket onto the plug. If you get the socket on there good it should be able to break it loose. Good luck.

    Slowboy racing boost controller spring

I had the same thing happen to me. Slowboy will not sell you just a spring. Your better off just getting a Hallman. Don't mess around with cheap crappy boost controllers.

    What does this phrase mean

You still need a fuel pressure regulator if your running at 255lph fuel pump. If you want to run the 880cc injectors you need to make sure your chip is burned for 880cc injectors.
  30. talontsi18

    can u believe this!

Thats crappy luck. Have you determined the cause of the failure? I would think that RRE would have a a turbo that you could buy already there. Did you talk to them about what they have in stock?

--input needed-- magnus smim and big16g

I have a JMF race manifold with my evo III 16g, but everything else on the car is build to handle a GT35r turbo. I'm trying to push the 16g into the 420+hp range on E-85, and then I'll switch to a bigger turbo. If your staying with the 16g you probally don't need SMIM. The 16g doesn't flow...

    compounding with a t-25?

Even a Evo III 16g is considered a very quick spooling turbo. If your really worried abpout spool have a 2.3 or 2.4 motor and a Evo III 16g. Compounding with such small turbos would really not be worth the time to fab it all up. My 2.0 liter 8.5 compression motor spools my 16g really fast, I...

16x8.5 Kosei rims: Will a 225/50/16 tire fit?

You will need to let us know what offset the rims are. Unless you have a pretty low offset I bet they will be fine. If you already have them then just put one or two on the car for a test fit.

Buying a 1991 Eclipse GST today. Got a few questions!

Either 2 3/4 or 3 will work. The stock turbo inlet is about 2 1/4 so you will need a reducer for both sizes for it to properly mate up to the turbo inlet. Get a intake pipe that have the recirculation fitting then pick up a stock recirculation tube. The 92-94 AWD brakes bolt on. All you need...

    boost creeping up to 16-20+

Your tune and what gas you use will determine this. If your using 91 or 92 octane you will be limited to around 21psi. Every car is different and you will need a logger to moniter your knock levels.

Fastest time for 13g auto ?

A bottle neck is where flow is lacking. Its what is keeping something from it's full potential. People port their manifolds and O2 housings and get bigger exhausts to relieve these "bottle necks" in order to flow more. Go look at a coke bottle and you will see as it gets closer to the top or...

    EVO3 16g dyno results

Thanks for answering all my questions it was very informative. I have just a few other questions. How long will the transition be for your intake pipe? 2G Extremely Harsh Ride

Make sure the springs were never cut or tampered with, as it will make the spring very unpredictable. On a lot of our cars there are bolts that become frozen in the bushing sleeves because of rust, making it so the suspenion cannot travel and move like its sapposed too. This will require taking...
