My engine has been running really rough for about a week now . i had the balance belt and timing belt that didnt fix it. car still runs weird under 2500, no codes... No knock, timing and o2 voltage are good all the way to redline. crank was at tdc when the cams were lined up so no biggie right...

yea i didnt even think about that....if it was the rings the spark plug prolly would of had oil on it... and i would be blowing crazy smoke right?

well After saving up for two years i had finally got my 1 gen tsi.. today while driving on the highway it was running fine.. Then all of a sudden it just started running like shit and like chuggin along... SO i pulled over couldnt see anything wronge so i started it back up again and kept it...

just used the search option and i found my answer its a bad wheel bearing. :thumb:

yea this noise is driving me crazy. it goes away when the brakes are applied. it sounds like a ratteling sound when im not on the brakes but when i hit the brakes it goes away. I noticed that when i took off my wheel i could move the rotor side to side on the hub, like it was a little bit loose...
