I'm thinking they are not reputable but they do have the 1G 91 AT ECU with EPROM and they mention requiring a deposit for a core so that looks a little promising.
Just a quick follow-up because I don't like leaving it a mystery. I replaced both of the pulse generators since once was bad and now the car is shifting as it should. No more light switches to shift. :)

Followup. I replaced the fuel pump with a walbro 190 (all stock still). It was running fine but after a while started stalling again. As long as I keep it 3000+RPM, it's fine without any check engine lights. It takes while to start.....cranking..... but once it starts it's good. I suppose I...

Update: I PB blasted everything and waited 30 minutes. All fitting came off very easily for me. Replaced the fuel pump with a Walbro 190 and topped it off with a full tank and things seem to be better. Aside from the front caliper that just froze on me and started smoking badly. :(

I just opened my spare MD165531 ECU and it looks almost identical. Things I noticed in your picture.That extra white wire near the capacitors.
The different shaped and different style capacitors. Did you check their numbers on their sides to confirm that they are the correct capacitors...

I always thought that these companies only replaced caps and sent them back without really testing. I have 1 ECU which looks great and was repaired once before. The other ECU is probably destroyed since I can see the PCB board exposed.

I noticed a much larger opening on the 2g. Will this create a problem. What shall I do with the old ring that was between the 1g manifold and turbo housing.
I received my 2g manifold today. I noticed the opening to the turbo was much large on the 2g manifold than on my old 1g manifold. Is this going to be a problem? Also I notice two cracks on the toungue like peice coming out of the manifold. Cracks were inside, none outside.

I have the studs out, left fan, exhaust mani so far. I assume you are referring to Anti Seizing as taking the turbo out and cleaning it up and putting new connections on it. I haven't seen any reviews on detaching the Turbo and oil lines yet on the Internet.
