direct port is exactly what its called while a regular system sprays through ur intake piping. direct port is better but costs alot more. for messin around go with a regular system(wet). almost all if not all the ppl on this forum using nitrous probably use the intake style. jst incase ur...
same engine bascially (95-99 n/t) except that the intake goes through the front and exhaust through the rear on the neon. i read once that the neon engine has less HP but more torque. the neon is a shiot car the 420a power plant is actually pretty good.

I dont complain about searchin but this one really is asked alot. Your new so it's not you fualt you dont know this, but if you do a search (middle of page) you could find you answer. Take off ur dump tube and loosen untill you see the valve starts to release. then screw in clockwise 1 full turn
you could use a random technology cat. they olny have about 1 hp @ the wheels restriction compared to running a pipe straight through and there smog legal but they're pretty expensive.

i did a search awile ago anf found plenty. hes right, either swap the mainfold and head at the same time or its not worth it it. no power gain when the air is getting blocked from the 2g head.
go to the tech articles. theres a good article that shows you how do it with pic of a 1g mani. you could DIY on the runners if you take ur time. and yes, a 14b will bolt to a 2g exhasut mnaifold. theres an article on that too. look through them, theres alota good stuff.

i saw an install on t.v. with an NX system. they put a switch in the glove box to switch it on/arm it. then behind the peddal they put a flat, thin lever switch (hard to explain) so when you floor it, it sprays the N2O+fuel.

check www.aempower.com and www.injen.com for dyno tests to find out the power increases. from what i've seen from on the sites the AEMs have more of a power incease but their intakes are really expensive, i dont know how much the injen intakes are though.
its the pro kits that people say are really soft. i have heard that the sportlines are just fine. for me im not goin with eibach cuz the pro kits have the ride height i like but are too soft and the sportlines have a good spring rate but are too low for my prefrence. i just wanted to correct...

ya, awhile ago i already found out that i was off by .1 on the drop that i said before when i was lookin at a chart again and i noticed i was lookin a different eclipse model. the drops are acutally prokit 1.3 and sport 1.7. i think i'll look around and c what other springs are good.
the prokits are specified as a 1.2'' drop and the sprotline as 1.6''. so thats why i was askin about the prokits. im lookin for a drop over 1.5'' cuz i dont want my car sittin too low. do you guys know of any other good springs around that drop height?
