    been using NGK for awhile now and never had any problems.
  4. fuel pressure is creeping up and staying there...

    the fpr that comes with hrc turbo kits are known to have some problems keeping a steady fuel pressure. you are better off using an SFMU and ditch the one that came with the kit in my opinion.

    forgive me if i'm mistaken but i didn't see an intercooler. are you running a side mount? not sure if going over 7lb of boost is safe without one.

    have you checked for boost leak? do you have a FCD? 96-99 eclipse will need some sort of FCD to prevent fuel cut.

    yeah..try the 2 fan wire mod if you havent done it yet..a 160 Degree Thermostat and some Redline Water Wetter helps aswell to cool the engine.

    not sure if you already had this but if not you might want to get an electronic fuel pressure guage to help monitor your fuel pressure and make sure you getting the right amount of fuel for your boost level.

    wtf dude how u get 16lbs...sounds like ur reading skills is kinda ####ered..i said i max out at 15lbs of boost and fuel pressure is a lil over 100psi..

    not sure if it will help but i'm using the sfmu,400cc injectors and no safc..i kinda maxes out at 15lb of boost,my idel fuel pressure is set at 16-17 with the 400cc injectors my fuel pressure is a lil over 100psi at full boost but i use 2 fuel pumps to back me up though.if u plan on boosting...

    yeah ur buring oil..if it just started happening when u installed the turbo kit and haven't boosted any..then i lean more toward the turbo..double check ur oil line going to the turbo and ur oil return line and make sure they are hooked up right and free of any kinks...also u might double check...

    i don't think autozone carries ngk(well not from where i'm from at least)..i purchased mine at o'rielleys auto part store for like $7.50(pack of 4), NGK Spark Plugs BKR7E part#6097.

  17. Can I use hi-impeedence injectors on my 4G64T

    450cc injectors are low inpeedence injectors(2-3 ohms) and will require a resister pack but not to sure about 550cc injectors but i belive they come in both..if u read that link i gave u it says that the 4g64 motor uses hi-inpeedence injectors(13-16 ohms)..so yes u can use hi-impeedence...

    i bet ur idel will suck with that setup..ur gonna be way to rich at idel with the 12:1 disk and 370cc injectors ..u might want to try a different disk in the fmu and use the safc to lean out ur fuel at idel..the sfmu will work better with those injectors and u can get it at summitracing.com(part...

    looks pretty good..not sure how u have the sfmu hooked(can't really tell by the pic)but it looks kinda odd to me like the sfmu is hooked up to the fuel feed line.

    since u have a built bottom end..it all depends on ur inj and fuel setup ,if u are on stock inj with sfmu i wouldn't push over 7-8lbs of boost..becarful with the walbro if its not the high pressure one(the reg one doesn't handle to well at high pressure)..i myself run 400cc inj,sfmu,walbro,hrc...

    like GSGoinFastt said it does help me flow more fuel at higher pressure..i rather be safe then sorry..i've ran 15 psi of boost with my setup before and my fuel pressure was a lil over 100psi..the walbro alone would not mantain that high of a fuel pressure.

    i belive for turbo 420a were suppose to use NGK Spark Plugs BKR7E(one range colder than stock,stock is BKR6E-11).they should also be gaped at about .032 to .035..i've been using the ngk bkr7e and had no problems gaped at .032.

    you think the walbro is loud..i use both the walbro and hrcs inline fuel pump and belive me the inline is much louder...but i got use to it.

    from experience it does alright with stock inj but once you swap to larger inj the cartech becomes pretty unstable.i had it and didn't like it.

    vacuum source for the fmu should be from the intake manifold,the walbro fuel pump should bolt right in unless you got the wrong one....i don't thing mine came with a wiring harness.

    good luck running 450cc with the 12:1 disk(you'll be flooding the engine) and i hope you got a resistor pack with those injectors.you'll need to use a different disk in the fmu and use the safc to lean out your idle.

    looks like a turbos xs standard boost controller(bleed type)..i heard that the bleed type boost controller don't work to well.you might want to get a ball and spring type mbc they hold better with less boost fade or spikes.i belive that the turbo xs high performance mbc is a ball and spring type.

    250.00 to 300.00 for an safc is alot of money to be spending tuneing stock injectors at 6psi of boost.with stock injectors your gonna need more fuel and all the safc does is leans it out(lean to much means rebuild time).with the sfmu u can raise or lower ur idel fuel pressure if more or less...

    you don't need the safc unless your using larger injectors (36lb or higher) you would only use it to lean out some of the extra fuel at idel, i'm running 400cc injectors with just the vortech sfmu(15 idel fuel pressure)and i don't have an safc.if i were u i would just get the sfmu if you don't...

    looks good..u might want to get the sfmu in the future its way better to adjust idel fuel pressure then with the fmu.
